The Central Placement Cell was established in 2006 to cater the needs of students to face the competitive job market. Student counselling and career services have become the need of “Hour” for the students graduating in wide variety of disciplines. The objective of the Central Placement Cell is to bridge the gap between eligibility and employability by providing necessary training so that students get recruited in renowned National and International Companies/Organization. We, at the Central Placement Cell are the official arbitrators for campus placement in various organizations, corporate world, industries, and private sectors. The Coordinator in consultation with the University authorities, Departmental Placement Officers (DPO’s), Teacher Placement Officers (TPO’s), Placement office staff and the students handles various crucial tasks of Central Placement Cell. The Placement Cell is the team of DPO’s & TPO’s along with Training and Placement Officer who primarily co-ordinates activities on two paths: Campus placements by co-ordination with industry/organization & company HR and  student employability enhancement by providing them necessary training.The placement office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure as mentioned below to support every stage of the placement process.

We strongly believe that Students and recruiting organizations are two of our most important customers. The Placement Cell of the Institute is responsible for arranging training of the undergraduate and postgraduate students in order to make them comfortable in the recruitment process of various organizations and to provide world class job opportunities in a range of private and public sector organizations. The Placement Cell also arranges pre-placement orientation to the students prior to formal campus interviews from senior executives of major industries. VNEC conducts extensive on-campus recruitment programs, workshops, seminars and individual career and job search assistance. The campus is abuzz with activities related to training and placement throughout the hiring calendar especially in the Odd semester of the academic year as the large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap firms throng to close the positions 2022-2023 Academic year. The training and placement team of DBIT has successfully provided more than 400+ offers to the students across all streams during the year 2022-2023.

DEPARTMENT OF PLACEMENT & TRAINING:

·         Our college has independent placement office devoted to cater the needs of organization to provide placement, preparatory programs, winning skills,personality development and CV preparation. It is headed by a Professor designated as Placement Officer.

·         Placement hours have been allocated to the students for conducting placement oriented activities. During this session, aptitude, interview tips and group discussion are impacted to the students by placement coordinators.

·         Entrepreneurship development programs are conducted to motivate aspiring students.

·         The students take part in technical symposium, quiz programs, conference,workshop and campus recruitments are given proper recognition in the premises.

Placement Status

Current Placement Status

In the current academic year college started “Earn and Learn” program in association with Quick Heal Foundation, Pune. In this program college students were trained by the company about Cyber Security and precautions to be taken while handling internet as well as whatsapp on mobile. These trained students were asked to give presentations on Cyber Security to the school students of standard 5th to 10th. Trained students will get remuneration for the presentations at the rate of Rs. 500/- per presentation of 200 school students.

Present scenario is that our college students (about 60) from F.Y. to T.Y.B.Sc. covered about 45 schools in Nasik region and gave presentations to about 38000 students. Quick Heal Foundation gave us upper limit of 20,000 students which our college students have already crossed. The corresponding amount of remuneration goes more than Rs. 1,80,000/- (One lakh Eighty thousand only)

So far more than four thousand students were benefited from this activity and more than 700 students were placed in reputed companies in Nasik and outside Nasik. Some students were placed in banking, finance, insurance sector and in air ways companies in Nasik and outside Nasik also. On an average 70 + students are placed in various companies.

GCE Bargur Placements

GCT Coimbatore has a placement and training cell that offers placement opportunities to its students in various reputed companies. For GCT Coimbatore placements, the placement and training cell invites various companies to participate in the GCT Coimbatore placement drive. The companies then accept the invitation and share their details with the placement cell. The companies then visit the campus to conduct the placement process which includes pre-placement talk, written test, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates clearing the placement process are given an offer letter by the company. Candidates need to complete all the joining formalities and join the company by the date mentioned in the offer letter.

GCT Coimbatore Placement Process

• The placement cell sends the invitation to potential recruiters to participate in the GCT Coimbatore placement drive.

• The companies interested shares their company profile with their remuneration and requirements.

• The company and the placement cell mutually decide the date of the placement process.

• The placement cell informs the students regarding the placement opportunity in the particular company and shares its details with them.

• The placement process is conducted on the planned date.

• The offer letters are given on the same day of the placements by the company through the placement cell.
