For Govt Quota

Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC and the candidates included in the PwD quota list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category.

For Management Quota

Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala or JEE. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission.

For NRI Quota

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. No need to qualify the entrance examination(KEAM/JEE).

Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Age
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2022. No relaxation of age will be allowed.

Training and Placement Cell arranges and coordinates various programs that aim at molding the students so as to meet the expectations in career building and in turn bring glory to the parent institution. So we organize common placement programs and guide the students for campus recruitments conducted in universities and other reputed institutions.

Objectives & Functions
The Placement Cell channelizes feedback from Industry, R&D Organizations and Management Organizations regarding academic programs, to the Institute. The Placement Cell continually functions to safeguard the interest of the students and also endeavors to be a part of their safe and secure future.
Companies, R & D Organizations have to register with the Placement Cell for the purpose of placement and internships. The Placement Cell will appropriately co-ordinate to take the process further.
Besides producing quality-oriented manpower, HCET also facilitates appropriate utilization of such personnel. Acting as the interface, the Training & Placement Cell of the college facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students
The office liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which some companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of August through to May. Pre-Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Office. The Placement Office is assisted by a committee comprising representatives of students from the under-graduation. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Student members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions.

I had a loan for studying but as my supplies started to increase my bank was not allowing me to continue the loan as they found that it's not good to give loan to me as I was not even good in academics but at the moment I feel good because I cleared a lot of supplies by far and j feel confident that I can clear remaining supplies also.
