Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai is one of the reputed Private Siddha Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu.  It was established in the year of 2001 by MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu, Founder-Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust which is a non-profitable and non-minority Institution. The college is popularly known as Sairam Siddha Medical College, Chennai and is fast developing into a reputed Medical Institution, imparting top QUALITY MEDICAL EDUCATION and preparing the young generation of student with SPIRIT OF SERVICE TO SOCIETY.

Sairam Siddha Medical College is nestled in a sprawling scenic campus of 200 acres near the well-known tourist attraction “Kishkinta” Theme Park at Sai Leo Nagar, Poonthandam, West Tambaram, Chennai. Tamil Nadu.  The permanent buildings of the college are architecturally designed and built as per the CCIM/NCISM norm.

This famous Siddha Medical College in Tamil Nadu Chennai is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. It is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines (CCIM) and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) under AYUSH, New Delhi

The SSSMDC&RC offers 5 and half year UG program B.S.M.S – Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery including Internship / House Surgeoncy.  NEET exam is the basis for Admission into the college for 50 seats annually.

The modern Infrastructural Facilities offered by SSSMC&RCinclude Herbal Garden, Central Library, Transportation, LCD Classrooms, Canteen, Hostel, Bank & ATM, Cultural & Sports, Gym and many other facilities.  The facilities at the attached Hospital include Hospital materials, IPD & OPD, Peripheral OPD, Monthly Free & Special Medical Camps and other free diagnostic facilities (ECG, Etc.).

Admission process is as per the regulations of State Govt. of TamilNadu for the Academic
Chemistry& Biology(Botany and Zoology) for OC – 50% BC – 45% MBC – 40% and SC/ST – 35%

A library is spread over about 5000 square ft with centralized AC and a virtual library accommodating about 25 computers with a high-speed broadband connection. There are more than 10,000 books including Siddha and modern medicine books. In a library, we have 15 journals including national and international journals and magazines.
