Admission Procedure

To seek admission in the undergraduate courses, the candidate must have to appear in the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) exam and also qualify it with the required cutoff. While admission to the post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, ME, M.TECH, the institute accepts the TANCET exam scores.

• Admission is primarily through TNEA counselling, based on your 10+2 marks
  
• Lateral entry candidates must apply through the state’s lateral-entry counselling.

Placement

This department interacts with reputed organizations all over the country for arranging campus interviews for the placement of final year students. It makes efforts to send most of the students for in-plant training to enhance their technical ability and gain exposure to the practical world.

Industrial visits to reputed companies are arranged to know more details about industrial activities. It also enhances the soft-skill capability of the students through regular training programs. The department counsels the students for their higher studies and for getting projects from industries.

The training and placement cell provides comprehensive training to our students in life planning, soft skills, aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, resume writing, interview readiness, and group discussion preparations. Also students are provided with Technical certification course, UPSC, GATE, TNPSC, BANK, and NPTEL coaching.

Scholarship

Rich collection of around 69,000 books, old and rare books, valuable reference books, journals, educational CDs/DVDs and innumerable e-books, e-journals is also available.A place to create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem which develops better cognitive ability among students. Survey is conducted to know student’s needs and suggestions regarding career-related activities and discussed in this hall. By effective discussions and debates the student employment ideas can be shared by providing in-house and external internships to students.

Special place to promote the conduct of international, national and other University events such as conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings, placement programmes and cultural events. Well-furnished, air-conditioned and equipped with modern projection and audio systems with access to the internet. It is designed in such a way that they ensure a perfect view of the main stage irrespective of the seating location of the audience.

Transport

Full-fledged transport facility to students and faculty members on very nominal charges. Our Bus drivers are highly qualified and are licensed by the RTO to drive college buses to ensure the full safety of both the students & staff members. Bus Facility is also available for students & faculty members for industrial visits, field trips and other academic activities.
