Admission Procedure

Jeppiaar Institute of Technology admission is based on merit scores of the students in the last qualifying exam or course-level entrances accepted by it. The institution offers various programmes at UG and PG levels. These are offered in multiple streams, such as Engineering and Business and Management Studies. Admission Process

Admission to the programme is completely based on the merit scores achieved by the students in their last academics or accepted exam. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay a total tuition fee of INR 2,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Additionally, students must meet the below eligibility criteria for admission:

Eligibility

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The library is open to students and staff members from 7.30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all working days. The library has a rich collection of around 12,000+ volumes of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and General Studies, and the collection is ever increasing. Open access system is followed in the library.A large mess hall is available with adequate seating facility for all the students. Hygienic Lunch, tea and snacks are provided to all the students and faculty members of our college. Both non-vegetarian and vegetarian food are provided.

Our College has 300 Mbps Internet connection(leased Line) locally networked & connected through Fiber Optic Cables.The central Library server is available for students for their study Purpose. It also gives access to e-books,study materials,previous question papers,daily circulars,etc. through college Local Area Network. Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab provide high speed of connectivity so that, the students can surf the net to gather unlimited information.The JEPPIAAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY boasts of sophisticated and world class Lab facilities that make the learning process thoroughly meaningful and productive for the student.

Transport

The college has a fleet of 19 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighbourhood areas to the college and back home Transport facility will be arranged to every student. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the college. Besides the regular scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the college hour Special Coaching classes, Placements and Training, Visit to Local Industries, hospitals, NSS Camps, etc.
