RVRJCCE Guntur was established in 1985 under the aegis of Nagarjuna Education Society and is Acharya Nagarjuna University. RVRJCCE offers a total of 16 full-time courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA. The RVR and JC College of Engineering UG and PG courses admission is based on the national or state-level entrance examinations. The college also provides scholarships and fee concessions to meritorious and deserving students. As per the official data from the RVR and JC College of Engineering’s website, during the academic year 2022-23, the college’s dedicated placement cell successfully organised campus recruitment drives involving 66 companies. The highest salary package offered to a student was Rs. 30.3 LPA.

RVRJCCE Guntur are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A + and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). RVR and JC College of Engineering Guntur is ISO 9001:2015 certified. As per the NIRF Ranking, 2023, the college has been ranked in the band of 201-250. RVRJCCE Guntur has excellent facilities for the students, such as well-equipped laboratories, a library, computer centre, an auditorium, sports complex, hostels, cafeteria and transportation facilities. B.Tech course is offered in 8 specializations. It is a regular course of the duration of four years. The minimum eligibility to this course is having passed in intermediate examination conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any equivalent board recognized by the Acharya Nagarjuna University and a valid rank in EAMCET.

The college offers six specializations in M.Tech course. The admission process for the course is offline. Application fee is INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST).

Candidate must have passed BE/B.Tech degree in Science or Engineering field with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
Candidate should have a valid rank in GATE or PGCET examination

For basic eligibility criterion to be fulfilled for M.Tech program, candidate should appear for Post graduate common entrance test (PGCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

The college provides generous financial support to the students coming from low-income families. The amount of scholarship money disbursed in the past few years is as follows.

NOTE: During the academic years 2009-10 and 2010-11, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has sanctioned scholarships to all the students whose parental income is below Rs. 1,00,000/-. Hence, the college did not consider the scholarships for the academic years 2009-10 and 2010-11.

Boys Hostel
The college has spacious hostels. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are daily provided to the students. The safety and security of the hostels are taken care of by the hostel wardens.

RVR and JC College of Engineering Guntur girls hostel facilities include well-ventilated and well-furnished rooms, furniture and modern appliances, free internet, 24X7 security systems and many more.
Medical/Hospital
The on-campus medical clinic provides basic first-aid treatment to the students, college staff and faculty members. Trained medical officers administer the medical treatment.

RVR and JC College of Engineering Guntur library is a five-storied building and has property counter, xerox section, reference section, periodical section, etc. The library uses OPAC services and Environs Software with Barcode System to automate the day-to-day administrative work. The library also has an internet facility and provides digital services.
Sports
Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available at RVR and JC College of Engineering Guntur. Separate fields are maintained especially for outdoor sports.

RVR and JC College of Engineering Guntur cafeteria facilities include multi cuisine food. South Indian food and snack items are the speciality. The Alumni association of this institute is called as RAJCEAA ie.. RVR & JC College of Engineering Alumni Association. This was registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860 with Society No. 140 in 1998. The office headquarters of RAJCEAA is in the premises of RVR & JC college of Engineering, Chowdavaram Guntur-522019, A.P., India.

Instructions To The Bus-Users

Usage of Mobiles, Ear phones and any other Electronic gadgets for entertainment is strictly prohibited in buses.
Bus users should carry College identity and Bus identity while travelling in the bus.
Students should travel strictly according to their shifts only. Even during the examinations, they are not permitted or allowed in the irregular shifts.
Students should maintain discipline in the college buses.
If any student is having any problem he can register his complaint in the complaint book which is available at the concerned bus driver.
Students should board the bus in their respective bus stops only.
