Since its establishment in 2015, the college has admitted 100 MBBS undergraduate students annually. It has since expanded to include various postgraduate specialities such as MD/MS in Internal Medicine, Paediatric Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. In addition, the institution offers a range of paramedical courses including DMLT, DRDT, B.Sc. in Physician Assistant, and certificate courses for Anaesthesia Technicians and Theatre Technicians. To be eligible for MBBS admission at Government Medical College, Omandurar, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.
