Arulmigu Palaniandavar Arts College, Palani was founded by Arulmigu Dhandayuthapaniswami Thirukoil, Palani in 1963. The birth of this institution marked not only the fulfillment of a long felt need but also a great step forward in the upliftment of the educational status of this part of Dindigul District. Thanks to the remarkable zeal evinced by the Trustees of the Thirukoil and the high moral support extended to them by the then Chief Minister, Thiru. M .Bakthavachalam, as well as by outstanding educationists like Dr.A.Lakshmanasamy Mudaliar and Rao Sahib Captain Dr. D.Sivasubramania Mudaliar, that the College took shape much faster than expected and within a year it became a full - fledged First Grade College affiliated to Madras University. The College was affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University in 1969, The institution has now come into its own as a First Grade College of mighty proportions. The College offer UG Degree Courses in eleven subjects and Post Graduate courses in ten subjects besides M.Phil and Ph.D. in some disciplines.

  5. Applicants belonging to SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/DNC, BC and BC (M) should possess a valid community certificate issued by the authorities concerned.

  6. The marks obtained by the candidate in the HSC examinations should be provided in the application without any error. In any case, if the marks provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect, a) The application will be summarily rejected b) Legal action would be taken against the applicant for providing wrong information c) The candidate will be barred from seeking admission in the college for next three years

   7. Differently abled candidates, the children of Tamil Nadu Ex-service men, Tamilians from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sports Students (District / Zone/ State/ National/ International level players) and NCC certificate holders are requested to provide their details in the application, wherever required.

   8. Incomplete and incorrect applications will be summarily rejected.

  9. Admission procedure will be done as per the direction of the Directorate of the Collegiate Education.

  10. The applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Scheduled Caste – Arunthathiyar need to pay Registration Fee Rs. 2/- need not pay the Application Fees.

  11. Age Limit: The upper age limit for the applicant is 21(twenty one) years as on 1st July 2022 . However, candidates belonging to SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/DNC, BC, BC(M), and Differently abled category are provided relaxation in age as per government norms.

  12. Grievances in admission can be taken to the notice of the Regional Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai.

  16. Applications can be submitted online through the college website. Rupees Fifty (Rs.50) towards the application fee can be paid through online mode only. (SC and ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee)
