ACS College of Engineering, an institution of Academic Excellence, is a unit of the Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions which was established in the year 2009 under the aegis of Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust.  Its Chairman Dr.A.C.Shanmugam, B.A.LLB, FIMSA, FRCPS (Glasgow, UK) founded Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions with the sole objective of starting institutions of higher education with a cherished desire to serve the cause of humanity through education

 
The college is located in a beautiful campus spread over an area of 6 acres of lush green landscape, free from polluted environment with excellent atmosphere and ambience ideally suited for growth of the soul & mind. It is located in Kambipura, Mysore Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka behind RRMCH on the Bengaluru-Mysore Highway 15 Km from the Bengaluru City Railway Station and 2km from kengeri Railway Station.

 
This ISO 9001:2008 certified college has been affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) Belagavi. It has been recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.  ACS College of Engineering has been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade, HLACT International as well as NBA.  

 
The College offers technical education in a wide range of Engineering disciplines including new age ones such as Aeronautical Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.  It offers undergraduate courses B.E in 10 disciplines and  M.Tech in Structural Engg.  It also offers PhD in 7 areas of specialization.  Admissions to these are on the basis of entrance exams JEE Main, COMEDK UGET, DCET scores.  The candidates have to appear and qualify in the GATE/Karnataka PGCET entrance exam to become eligible for the M.Tech courses at the college.

 
The ACS College of Engineering provides a number of facilities to the students such as Library, Auditorium, Fully-stocked Laboratories, modern Classrooms, Cafeteria, separate Boys & Girls Hostel, Canteen, Medical facility, Sports & Recreation, Transportation, N.S.S, Bank, Alumni, and much more.  The Institute has a strong Anti ragging committee which is very proactive in looking after the whole college 24X7 including hostels.

 
For the candidates' professional growth, the college also maintains a special Placement Cell. To provide training to the students, the Placement Cell collaborates with the Training Cell and Career Development Cell.  Before the final ACSCE Bangalore Placement Drive, the Placement Cell undertakes activities such as Group Discussions, Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Exams, Computer Programming Tests, and Technical Interviews to ensure that students have received the required training. Students with science stream in their 11th and 12th class from any recognized board are eligible to applying for Bachelors of Engineering.
A minimum 40% aggregate is required in 10+2 examinations to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course.

ACSCE B.E Selection Criteria
A Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by the college in the month of April to select the best students.
Rank attained in the CET determines the admission of the student in Bachelors of Engineering Programme.
Once the college committee declares the results, selected students are called up to the campus to submit the necessary documents.
Selection procedure is complete once he/she has paid the admission fees along with other nominal charges.

ACSCE M.Tech. course Admission
ACS College of Engineering has been on the list of every student who wants to pursue his/her masters in engineering. A complete structure of 4 specializations is available for the students to apply to. Students have the following options available under M.Tech course.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology is a must if the student wants to pursue a master’s degree in the technical department.
The college demands an aggregate of 45% and a year of experience in the industry under the eligibility criteria.
Selection Criteria
Maintenance of good grades during bachelors’ degree is the first thing the college committee considers for admission.
Individual entrance test is conducted by the college and ranking in the same decides whether the student is selected or not.
The administration department finalizes the result by combining the previous performance with the test results.

College website has a portal where every new student needs to register themselves for the Common Entrance Test.
The application form has to be filled in by the first week of March so the candidate can appear for CET.
A scanned picture, left thumb impression and the student’s signature have to be uploaded on the portal on the website.
The candidate then has to fill the required details in the application form and submit it then and there.
Application fee has to be paid next through an online mode via Net Banking? Debit or Credit Card.
The hard copy of the completely filled up admission form and required documents have to be submitted to the college administration office.

Training and Placement Cell of A C S College of Engineering has evolved and emerged as a destination for many National and Multi-National organizations to recruit the fresh talent nurtured in the campus. Mission
The training and Placement team of ACS college of Engineering is dedicated towards achieving maximum placements and spares no effort in maintaining sterling rapport with industries. Preparing the recruitment schedule of the year by inviting corporations for association and coordinating with the HR Team to ensure the smooth functioning of the final recruitment process are its major responsibilities. Meanwhile, numerous training programs, workshops, seminars, Industry interactions, and also industry visits are conducted by the team. Regular one-on-one counseling is done for the betterment of the students facing difficulties in different rounds of interviews. Faculty Development Programs are conducted concentrating on 360 degree improvement in student performance along with the skill development of the faculty. Library-

The library is spread over about 360 sq. Mts. of area. It has more than 13500 books covering all disciplines of engineering and science. Library is equipped to browse for e-books and e-journals that help for studies.

Hostel-

The college has the separate hostel for boys and girls inside the campus. Each hostel has the accommodation of 300 students with choice of individual and shared room facility.

Auditorium-

The college has a well equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 persons. Institute has a convention Hall with the capacity of 4000 people and is used for seminars, cultural activities.

Sports-

ACS has the excellent facility for games including tennis court, athletics tracks, swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court and also has the ground for hockey, cricket and football.

Awards:

Student from Aeronautical won the 1st prize in National level aero modeling competition held at IIT – Delhi organized by IIT & Boeing

Facility | Transportation

The college has its own fleet of buses that ply to and from various vantage points in the city. It is to facilitate easy travel for the students and staff residing outside the college campus. ACSCE has a fleet of 6 buses that ferry them to and fro. The buses travel through the city and suburbs; routes are planned properly to be punctual and convenient for students and staff. Additionally the college has the advantage of being well connected to the BMTC bus services and a major station of the under commission. Metro railway is just a few minutes away from the college.
