Adhiyamaan College of Engineering (ACE / AERI)

  Adhiyamaan College of Engineering (ACE) is one of the educational institutions developed in the year 1987  by Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institution (AERI) - a Trust, which was started in the year 1987-1988 to cater the needs of the nation in the development of technocrats and to provide facilities for educating and training men and women to meet the entrepreneurial and management needs.

  It is the first Engineering College to be started in the most backward erstwhile Dharmapuri District of the State of Tamilnadu to develop the people academically, socially and economically. It was originally affiliated to University of Madras. When the Periyar University was carved out from the University of Madras; it was affiliated to it. Since the government of Tamilnadu decided to bring all the Engineering and Technical Institutions in the State under one Technological University in the year 2001, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering was affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai.  This college is the first private college to introduce the five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree course in Tamil Nadu, in the Name School Of Architecture.  This School of Architecture is affiliated to  Council of Architecture, New Delhi

  ACE  is an Autonomous Engineering College housed in Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institutions Campus, Dr.M.G.R Nagar, Hosur. The Campus is spread over an area of 1255 acres abutting National Highway NH-7.  The Institution is situated 6 kms from Hosur bus stand and railway station. The Institution is well connected to three major Railway Junctions viz., Hosur, Jolarpet and Bangalore.   It is 42 km from Bangalore. The nearest airport is Bengaluru International Airport.  The institution is spread over a sprawling campus with calm surroundings, creating a fitting atmosphere for study. The Institute provides a clean and invigorating environment conducive for higher education.

  ACE is approved by the University Grants Commission Recognised under 2(F) & 12 (B) in 2013 as an Autonomous institution and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as A grade. The college is certified with ISO 9001:2008. It is also accredited by AICTE, NBA, New Delhi. The college has student chapters in ISTE, IE(I), IIPC, CSI and IET(UK).  It is recognised by Govt of Tamil nadu, Approved by AICE, Delhi and by Council of Architecture.  The college is  recognised as SIRO by DSIR of DST.

  Adhiyamaan College of Engineering offers various undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programes.  The students can choose from any of the courses as per their preference - BE 7 courses, B.Tech 4 courses and BArch, ME 5 courses, MBA full time and MBA Part Time, MCA and Researchprograms in 5 depts.  The admission criteria is TNEA Counselling and Entrance Exam for Engineering and NATA and TANATA for Architecture.

  Each academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester has three internal exams and one final exam (semester exam) for all theory subjects. For laboratory courses there is usually one internal exam followed by the final exam. Most of the exams are theoretical and have practical exams like most other engineering colleges in India.

  The ACE management has created adequate infrastructural facilities and sufficient funds and is keen on developing the institution for higher education.  There are Three hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls with kitchens providing wholesome food.   Three canteens running inside the campus caters to students, staff  and faculty. The college library is one of the biggest of its kind with books for all departments as well as technical and non-technical magazines. Computer labs, recreation rooms and sports facilities are also available. It is one of the zonal leaders in sports.

  For the admission in the B. Arch programme, candidates will need to appear in the NATA entrance test. For the admissions in the MBA and MCA programmes offered by Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur, candidates are required to appear in TANCET. For admission in the M.E./M.

  Placements: In our college, almost 80-85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho, etc., visit our campus. Almost 30% of students get internships.

The fee structure will vary based on the admission type for counseling 60000 Rs. and for management seats, a 95000 per year scholarship is also provided by the government every year to the students who are studying in this college.
