Admission Process

• Candidates should obtain and complete the college's prescribed application form.

Eligibility

• Candidate should be at least 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the admission year.

• Must have passed 10+2/PUC or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

• Must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually.

• Must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English; the college specifies 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

Admission Process

• Complete the prescribed Post Basic B.Sc Nursing application form.

• Submit the application with GNM, registration and academic documents.

• The college verifies the candidate's nursing qualification and registration status.

Eligibility

• Must have passed GNM after 10+2 or an equivalent examination.

• Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with a State Nursing Registration Council.

• Foreign candidates must possess valid nurse registration from their respective country.

M.Sc

Admission Process

• Complete the M.Sc Nursing application.

• Submit the B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing certificates and other required documents.

• Pay the prescribed fees and complete RGUHS registration formalities.

Eligibility

• Must possess B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from RGUHS or an equivalent recognized university.

• Candidates with Basic B.Sc Nursing must have at least one year of work experience after graduation.

• Candidates with Post Basic B.Sc Nursing do not require additional experience after graduation.

• Must be registered as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the State Nursing Council.

ACN has a spacious library with 3350 books . Every year we purchase 200 to 300 books. Students are encouraged to avail other facilities like e-mail, internet, CD-ROM browsing & photocopying. Separate reading space has been provided to both the students and faculty. Separate accession register is maintained for books, journals, thesis, and projects and for CD-ROM’s and offers access to online medical literature through the HELINET for International and Indian journals are subscribed along with RGUHS -Nursing and e-journals.

The seminar hall is spacious, well ventilated with facilities such as LCD and OHP projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures A well-equipped auditorium with seating for over 1000 people serves as the venue for the regular conferences, workshops and seminars as a part of the learning process. The college provides sports and recreation activities for the students through the department of Physical education. The sports facilities includes outdoor games like Volleyball, Basket Ball, Hand Ball, Tennis, Shuttle and Ball Badminton and indoor games like Table Tennis, Caroms and Chess.

ACON hostel offers comfortable stay for the students within the campus during their course of study. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study. The hostel has a Visitors’ Lounge, Recreation Hall, Study Hall, Prayer Hall facilities for Indoor Games, Magazines Reading and Television. Mess facilities are available with a well maintained dining hall adjacent to the hostel and preparing multi cuisines Vegetarian/ Non-Vegetarian meals hygienically and served aesthetically.
