AECS Maaruti College Of Dental Sciences and Research Centre was started in 1992 by Amrith Educational And Cultural Society, Bangalore under the able guidance and stewardship of it’s Chairperson, Smt. V.Geetha Devi, who is a qualified educationist with a passion towards education and Sri. R. Venkatesh, Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the Society, who carries with him vast experience of starting various professional courses in rural areas of Kolar district .

AECS Maaruti College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre aims at a healthy integration of both Eastern and Western dental health sciences to enable the human kind to live a full span of their lives provided by God in perfect health.

It would strive for achievement of academic excellence by educating and training dental health professionals, who shall recognize health needs of the community, carry out professional obligations ethically and equitably and in keeping with the National Oral Health Policy. It would promote development of scientific temper and oral health for achievement of academic excellence by educating and training accountability amongst students and teachers. It would support quality assurance for all its educational programmes. Excellence in dental education is the motto.

VISION: We attempt to reach as in depth for more knowledge to be given to the individual and faculties so that contribution by each one of them gives prosperity and life towards day to day work in everyone’s manual manner of working.

n order to pursue a BDS degree, aspirants are required to appear and qualify for the National Eligibility Entrance Test. The admission process for the BDS degree comprises filling out the application form for NEET, followed by admit card, conducting the exam, results, and counselling.

Boys Hostel
We have separate boys' hostel with mess facilities. The hostels are located inside the campus for the safety of the students and the mess is hygienically maintained to serve healthy and tasty vegetarian food.


Girls Hostel
We have a separate girls' hostel with mess facilities. The hostels are located inside the campus for the safety of the students and the mess is hygienically maintained to serve healthy and tasty vegetarian food.


Library
The college has a spacious and well-stocked library. The computerized library with Internet facilities and CD-ROMS on dental topics, lectures of eminent doctors, reports of diagnoses, and discoveries make information available at the fingertips of the students. There is a complete stock of international journals on dentistry and dental newsletters.

Laboratories
The modern laboratory with sophisticated equipment for clinical, pre-clinical, and basic sciences makes learning a pleasure. Students can use the laboratory facilities to work on their own projects. There is a fully functional outpatient department with 20 units for the benefit of the students. State-of-the-art equipment such as Intra Oral Camera, Radio Visual Graphy, Orthopantomograph gives the students a feel of dentistry as they enter the portals of clinical learning.
