Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), Palakkad, an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution, is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology offers five Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, that is complemented by various co-curriculur and extra-curriculur activities. B.Tech. Merit Quota
For B.Tech. admission, the candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate score along with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
Candidates with 45% – 50% marks in Class 12 will be considered for admission under government quota only in private engineering colleges. These students will not get admission in government engineering colleges.
In case a candidate has not studied Chemistry in class 12, marks of Computer Science will be considered for aggregate score. Further, if the candidate has also not studied Computer Science and Chemistry, the marks in Biotechnology will be considered. In case candidate has not studied any of the above subjects, the scores of Biology will be taken into consideration. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examinations obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.

B.Tech. Management/NRI Quota
35% seats are under Management Quota, allotted on merit by ranking applicants on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and for Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations 2020 (KEAM 2020). Seats under NRI category (Max 15%) are offered to eligible candidates. Qualifying in the KEAM is not necessary for NRI admission. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme candidates as supernumerary are allotted as per norms of AICTE/Govt.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self-financing Engineering Colleges.

At the time of admission to the Departments of Civil Engineering (CE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Mechanical Engineering, Ahalia Merit Scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students in the Management, Lateral Entry and NRI quota. Note that scholarship is not offered for admissions to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Boys Hostel
The Men's hostel is located within an optimal distance from the Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology and there are a large number of well-maintained rooms in the hostel. The Gents Hostel has the following amenities- Well furnished rooms, Reading rooms for students, Mess halls that can accommodate 150 members at a time, an In-campus Laundry facility, high-speed network connectivity, and a Transportation facility.

Girls Hostel
The Women's hostel is located within an optimal distance from Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology and there are a large number of well-maintained rooms available in the hostel. The Women's hostel has the following amenities- Well-furnished rooms and reading rooms for students. Mess halls that can accommodate 100 members at a time.
