Akshaya College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) ACET is a Private, Self Financed, Autonomous, Non Minority and Co-Educational leading Engineering College in Coimbatore. The College was established in the year 2009 by the Akshaya Charitable Trust. Thiru. A Nagarasan is the Managing Trustee of the College Management, Thiru.T Subramaniyan is the Chairman and Thiru K Pavithran is the Secretary. The College is committed to emerge as a Premier Institute, producing globally competent engineers.

Akshaya College of Engineering & Technology is located at Bhagavathipalayam, Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore. It is part of a mammoth 100 Acres campus of which the College is constructed on 16 Acres. The campus within and its outer surroundings are lush green with thick foliage and a very scenic location which makes it ideal for learning. The main traffic hubs of Coimbatore Junction Railway Station and Coimbatore Airport are well connected from the College. Akshaya College of Engineering & Technology offers many options of Academic Courses for aspiring students. It currently offers B.E (6), B.Tech (2) and M.E (3) in different disciplines. There is also an option of Research Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering.The Department of ECE has been recognized as research center by Anna University since 2017. Currently 3 External scholars and 3 Internal Scholars are Pursuing their Ph.D., under various Supervisors in the Department. There are four major research groups in the Department.

Admission Procedure 

The admission process at Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Coimbatore, for the year 2025 is structured into two primary categories: Government Quota and Management Quota.

Admission Criteria

B.E / B.Tech - 4 Year Course

Admission Process

• Apply through the TNEA online portal.
• Attend the verification process at the designated centers.
  
• Participate in the Single Window Counseling conducted by Anna University, where seat allotments are made based on merit.
  

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for the General category. For reserved categories, a minimum of 40% is required.

M.E - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Apply through the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) counseling process. 
• Apply directly to the college; selection is based on academic performance and an entrance exam conducted by the Association of Engineering Colleges.

• A B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for Reserved Categories).

1. Monthly Akshaya Trust Scholarship
