Admission Procedure

Admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu is through the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) for undergraduate (UG) courses like MBBS and through the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) for postgraduate (PG) courses. Admission Process

• Candidate must hold the requisite qualification as mentioned (MBBS/BDS + internship etc).

• Appear for the relevant entrance exam: INI‑CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) for MD/MS/MDS and super-specialty programmes.

• After obtaining eligible rank, participate in counselling/allotment for those programmes.

• After seat allotment, report to the institute with required documents for verification, pay fees and join the course.

Eligiblity

• Nationality: Applicant must be a resident Indian national. 

• Education: For MD/MS, the candidate must hold an MBBS degree recognized by the relevant authority and must have completed the requisite 12 months of compulsory rotating internship/practical training on or before a specified date (e.g., 31 July of the admission year). 

• For MDS, BDS degree required similarly.
