Alpha College of Engineering Campus is surrounded by ten acres of lush nature and is located 14 kilometers from Bangalore at Doddagobbi Post, Hennur Bagalur Road, Kannur Post, Bengaluru, Karnataka. ACE is located technically on the outskirts of Bangalore, but is well connected by the public transport and the College transport system. It is located 200 meters from the express highway to the Devanahalli International Airport and the outer peripheral ring road. The college has the distinction of being accessible and close to the city while being far away from the noise and pollution.  Alpha College of Engineering stimulates and motivates learning worlds away from the hum drum and clatter of the city.

Alpha College of Engineering, Bangalore is currently offering full time UG and PG programs namely B.E and M.Tech in 4 disciplines each. It also offers 3-year Diploma program in Mechanical and ECE. The admissions to the courses are based on the scores obtained in the respective Entrance Exams - COMEDK UGET, KCET for B.E and GATE/ PGCET for M.Tech Courses.  ACE offers Scholarship to deserving students.

Alpha College of Engineering was established in 2000 in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The college is currently offering B.E. and M.Tech courses under its undergraduate and postgraduate programs and diploma in two fields of engineering.

The college conducts an offline application process.
For B.E., the candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised Board.
The selection of the candidates in B.E. is based on KCET.
For admission to M.Tech, candidates must have secured a bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology with a minimum of 50% marks.
Selection in M.Tech is based on the score of PGCET/ GATE or any other state entrance test for M.Tech.
To take admission in Diploma courses offered by the college, the candidates must have passed 10th or 10+2 with minimum 35% marks.
Selection in Diploma courses is based on merit.

Candidates seeking admission in any UG or PG courses offered by Alpha College of Engineering must register and appear for respective entrance test.
To apply for admission in this college, the candidates must follow the below mentioned steps:

Candidates can either download the application form from the official website of the college under the ‘Admission’ tab or obtain the same from the admission office of the college or by post by making a Demand Draft of INR 500 in favor of ‘Secretary, Alpha College of Engineering’, payable at Bangalore.
Fill the application form correctly.
Affix the passport sized photographs on the designated places in the application form.
Attach the required documents, which includes –
SSLC/ 10th mark sheet and passing certificate
PUC II/ 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate
Bachelor’s degree and mark sheet
KCET/ PGCET/ GATE Admit Card and Score Card

Placements
The placements, both for final positions, as well as industrial training are an integral component of any technical institute's annual calendar of events. Alpha College of Engineering has well planned and organized method of integrating our students' ambitions for careers to the industry's requirements. The principal goal that the Training and placement cell is to provide a unique platform for students, acting as a liaison between Industries as well as Academia.

Campus interviews are conducted by inviting companies to participate in the students' placement for employment. Placement Department at Alpha College of Engineering & Technologies Placement Department of the Alpha college of Engineering & Technologies is comprised of full-time training and placement officers along with faculty members, students and faculty representatives from over the past two years.

Campus:

The essence that is Khatraj, Alpha College of Engineering & Technology was founded on the premise of educating students in the area of technology and in the ambience of liberty and harmony. The institution was born from the roots of the Alpha Education Foundation Trust, ACET has been at the forefront of innovation for over decade, in the field of crucial technology and teaching methods. The campus spans the area of 10 acres.

It was founded with 240 seats in an undergraduate degree in the Engineering Program, the institute is now able to accommodate 924 students in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Civil Engineering. The institute also offers a postgraduate program for Computer Engineering.

Classroom:

Classrooms are among the primary places where effective learning happens. We've taken every possible care in creating our world-class classrooms so that students benefit from the effective teaching of our instructors and foster a sense of participation. ACET is also equipped with an advanced distance education classroom equipped with a Smart board as well as broadcasted whiteboards and a plasma TV and a document camera. These are utilized to give students an learners with an interactive experience.

Our classrooms are air-conditioned and large, and equipped with LCD and overhead projectors, as well as a public address system that is properly arranged with laptop power supply. The furniture that is used in classrooms is of the highest high-end international standards to allow students to spend 8 hours comfortably and continual learning. ACET has 30 classrooms within the main building, and 12 classrooms in diploma building.

Computer Centre:

Central Computer Centre is a central computing facility that meets the computing needs of the institution. The center is outfitted with over 70 computers. The terminals at this center run LINUX operating System. Feedback portal for college students is a feature of this lab. Central Computer Centre provides services for conducting all tests online for campus selection for UG as well as PG Students of all branches. Aptitude tests for the Training and Placement for UG as well as PG students are also conducted at the Central Computer Centre.

Students in the Institute are entitled to access to the central computer centre in accordance with their enrolment numbers. Students can access into the Central Computer Centre only with their Identity Card.

Library:

The ACET Library serves dynamic facility for technical training. The library, in addition to having more than 11000 volumes about technology, science humanities, languages and library services in its many divisions , including gujarati books and dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc. The library is a subscriber to International journals, national journals newspapers, magazines, and periodicals.

The Library offers Internet facilities, which include connected terminals that provide the most recent and complete access to E-journals as well as other electronic reference resources for students and faculty. Library has been able to automate its routine tasks using library software known as "SOUL 2.0 that has expanded the capabilities of various services such as databases searches, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) web-based OPAC and scanning, as well as NPTEL (National Program for Technology-Enhanced Learning)Video Lecture facilities are accessible and all library books that have barcodes.

Sports:

The institute offers ample opportunities for students to be involved in outdoor and indoor sporting activities. The sports complex is situated next to the college, and provides facilities to play and practice Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Kho-Kho and Cricket. Intercollegiate competitions, inter class games and an annual athletic meets are commonplace of the sport section. Many students from the college compete at the GTU or AIU (ALL INDIA UNIVIVERSITY) at the university level.

Workshop:

At ACET the ACET has a state-of-the-art workshop that supports the research and teaching activities in the mechanical engineering department. The workshop provides basic knowledge of hand tools and machines as well as their application across various manufacturing areas. The workshop is spread over an area of around 1143 square meters and is staffed by a the support of a team of four workshop technicians.

The workshop in general is used by the first and second semester students from every branch, and mechanical engineering students participate on manufacturing processes in the second and third years. The workshop houses approximately 50 tables to carry different tasks.

Auditorium:

The auditorium is huge and air-conditioned auditorium that has a stylish space for 240 seats. It also has an impressive projector that has large screens at the front of the room, wireless microphones and laptops with the latest amenities like guest rooms and restroom. ACET auditorium has a state-of-the-art multimedia equipment. It is often used to host seminars, lectures or other fests and events held by the college.

The College Auditorium is an unmoved stage. It is awe-inspiring in its acoustics as well an inviting and warm ambience. It's the perfect place for theatre and musical performances, seminars, lectures, and conferences.

Cafeteria:

Canteen is a popular place for students at ACET which is where they can indulge in healthy and delicious snacks, hot and cold drinks. Students can dine in the Canteen and enjoy a wide range of meals, such as Gujarati, Punjabi, and Chinese. On the College Campus we have two canteens for students. Students use the facilities in the early morning and late at night. The trust is responsible for the standard of the canteen.

To ensure that the process runs without a hitch, ACET has also formed food & Hygiene Committee. The members of this committee are responsible for looking at the quality, availability, and cost of food that is served in the canteen.

Transport Facility

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.
