AMC Engineering College, which believes in imparting value-based technical education and research for the benefit of society, was established under the Paramahamsa Foundation Trust in the year 1999. Since then, students from various backgrounds and nationalities have been given a safe, nurturing environment where they can gain the skills and knowledge they require to be progressive leaders in today’s fast paced society.

The AMCEC is located in the vicinity of Bangalore’s wilderness treasure, The Bannerghatta National Park, K.M. Bannerghatta Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka and is spread across a modern campus of 52 acres of land amid Roman Architectural Infrastructure, making it a true beauty to behold.

AMC Engineering College is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Government of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The quality of AMCEC is certified by leading independent entities in Indian Higher Education. It is accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and is also ranked by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework).

AMCEC offers various UG, PG and Doctoral Courses like B.E in 11 various disciplines of engineering, M.Tech in 5 Disciplines, M.B.A, M.C.A and Ph.D programs in 10 different disciplines in the fields of Engineering, IT and Management (5 departments recognised as Research Centres by VTU). Admissions to all courses are entrance based. The entrance scores accepted include JEE, COMDEDK, KCET, KPGCET, GATE, and KMAT/ XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. The application is available online.

AMC Group of Institutions started off in 1984, collaborating with a Californian University in USA, becoming one of India’s first institutions to jointly grant courses with a foreign university.  In 1994, AMC became the first private Institution in Karnataka to offer an MBA Postgraduate degree.  In 2001, AMC-CITY Group became the first educational group in Karnataka to offer Engineering courses under two different colleges.  With a vision to be a leader in providing value-based Technical Education and Research for the betterment of society, AMC Group provides holistic education in the spheres of Management, Engineering, Science, Technology, Tourism, Culinary Arts and Research for more than three decades.

Admission Procedure

AMC Engineering college Bangalore offers admission to the candidates on the basis of their entrance examination scores. Candidates, desirous to seek admission in the B.E. programmes of AMC Engineering College Bangalore must have to appear for the COMEDK UGET entrance exam. Candidates can also appear in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
