Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences (AIEMS)
Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, Bidadi, in Bangalore, was established in the year 2008 by Basaveshwara Vidya Vardhak Sangh (BVVS), Bagalkot. Established in 1906 by his Holiness Gurubasav Swamiji of Bilur, Sangha was started with a Sanskrit Pathashala, and is now a leading educational organization running more than 160 institutes and various campuses spread over more than 600 acres in 4 districts.
AIEMS is the result of the vision of the Chairman Dr Veeranna C Charantimath, to proactively participate in establishing a World class Institution for Technical Education. It is a first step towards the larger vision of imparting world class technical education, to young budding engineers with creative and innovative approach to Engineering Systems, Design and Development.
Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences Campus is located in a sprawling 15.05 acres land surrounded by lush green plantation at the Bidadi Industrial Town, Near Toyota Kirloskar Motors Road, Ramanagar District, Kenchanakuppe, Bangalore, Karnataka.
The institution is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, India and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi as well as the Government of Karnataka.
At present AIEMS, Bengaluru offers needful competitive programs to cater to the needs of the present competitive world with four Under Graduate BE programs in 5 different disciplines, along with a Post Graduate program in Business Administration – MBA with 4 Specializations. It further offers 2 Diploma programs apart from PhD & M.Sc by Research in 4 Disciplines. Students can take Admissions to the UG courses through CET/ COMEDK / Management. For admissions into PG program Students can take Admissions through PGCET/ KMAT / Management.
AIEMS Bidadi, Bengaluru has highly qualified faculty as well as excellent infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipment and machinery along with other facilities like Library, spacious Classrooms, Hostel, Laboratories, Transportation, Canteen, Sports facilities, Wi-Fi & Internet connectivity, Physically Challenged friendly and a host of Extra Curricular activities.
The Institute has initiated a number of multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional R&D programs with AICTE, DST and other Departments. Under the R&D activity, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India has sponsored the Design and Fabrication of a Bio-Diesel Plant in collaboration with an industry. This was recognized as one of the best-completed projects and is being replicated in different states
The Faculty Development Program (FDP) by AIEMS addresses the need to enhance the knowledge about the latest ‘Outcome Based Education’ (OBE), its implication in Learning, Assessment, Evaluation and NBA Accreditation.
NBA accreditation plays a vital role in facilitating constant quality improvement in Engineering Education Institutions, promotes new and innovative methods in Engineering and associated fields of education system, provides consultation and guidelines for educational program through outcome-based education. Main objective of this FDP is to educate the young as well as senior AIEMS faculty members to reorient their teaching learning process to implement OBE for NBA accreditation.
The dedicated Training & Placement Cell at AIEMS strives to be a facilitator to create ready-to-deploy candidates with the right Knowledge, Technical skills and Abilities to its Campus Recruitment Partners namely, Accenture, Canon, Decorpt, Easyday, Future Group, HDFC Bank, Honda, IDFC First Bank, Infosys, Wiley, Revature, Swiftz, TCS, Wipro, Zomato, etc.

The eligibility Criteria for this college is to score a minimum of 50% in boards for management quota and KCET and COMEDK. Application forms can be get in the college, no fees for application forms. Dates for the application will be after the exam of the 12th board. Reservation Benefits can be asked for in the college itself. An improvement in the admission process is to provide admission forms online.
AIEMS WELCOMES RECRUITERS TO HIRE
Students of AIEMS are eligible for Campus and Off Campus (Pool) Drives. They are instructed to email and inform the Placement Cell /Officer of their final decision and acceptance within one week of receiving the shortlisting Email or Offer Letter to enable the company representatives to be informed in time about confirmation or inability to join the company. They will also have to write to the HR of the company stating their decision to maintain professional integrity.
The AIEMS Placement Cell cordially invites interested companies to conduct their campus recruitment drives for our passing out batch or pre-final year students for placements or internship opportunities basis the following parameters:
- The standing of the company and growth prospects.
- Open positions for fresh engineering graduates for internships/full-time employment.
- The CTC / package being offered.
- Past trends of recruitment.
- Reviews and recommendations of Alumni with respect to the company.
Based on the positions of the visiting company, the Training and Placement In-charge will take the decision to hold exclusive campus drives for its students or organize pooled drives with other colleges.
To enable volume / bulk recruiters, AIEMS will join hands with colleges to form a Consortium of colleges to conduct pooled campus drives to showcase the best talent from each college.
Library
The college has a large collection of books relating to various branches of Engineering, Management, and General books. There is also a facility for students and staff to go through previous question papers made available in the Library whenever required. At present there are 2777 titles, 11198 volumes, 72 journals and many reference books are prescribed as per the VTU scheme and syllabus. The Library is fully computerized using the EASYLIB software’s in all the books, Journals and Identity cards have been bar-coded.
Hostel
- The hostel facility includes, fully equipped Hostel blocks with separate hostels for boys and Girls.Both the hostels are in a lush green surrounding, with a wonderful view from all the rooms.
Hostels for both girls and boys are situated within the campus.
The Girls Hostel would have an accommodation for about 93 students in this phase with facilities for a common study/library area and an indoor play area. A caretaker’s room also is accommodated at each floor.
Each of the students would have a combined Bed- Study unit designed on the lines of those found in a few foreign institutions consisting of a Study table, a Wardrobe, a Book rack and a single Bed with individual lighting and Electrical socket points with Computer points.
The Boys Hostel would have similar facilities like the girls Hostel and would accommodate around 110 students in this phase.
Each Room will have 3 member/5 member accommodation.
With all these facilities it is proposed to inculcate the value of ‘SAHAJEEVANA’ among students

Transport
There are pick up and drop points as per convenience of passengers coming from various suburbs including places like Ramanagar, Chennapatna, JP Nagar, Jaya Nagara, Kanakapura, Jalahalli, Sunkadakatte, Banashankari, Vijayanagar, Basaveshwara Nagara, Rajaji Nagara, Kengeri, Rajarajeshwari nagar, etc.
A fleet of buses running in eight different routes are available
Charges are dependent on the distances and based on various stops.
From Bidadi cross, regular shuttle service is also available to match college timings.
Buses come from various routes and from as far a distance as 50 KMs, from the college.
A good tar road right up to the college, facilitates smooth movement, even in the chaotic traffic of Bangalore.
The same buses pick up Faculty en-route to college, ensuring comfort and discipline along the way.
