Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai established in the year 2000, is a prominent and reputed institution founded by Kalvi Vallal Shri T. Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai offers various courses in Full Time mode at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in the disciplines of Engineering & Technology and Management & Business Administration.  Courses offered include B.E (in 4 Disciplines), B.Tech (in 5 Disciplines), M.E (in 3 Disciplines), MBA programs and Ph.D (ECE).  Admissions to theses courses are based on the TNEA and TANCET Counselling.

The Institute also offers a number of State and Central Government Scholarships for meritorious and deserving students.

Admission Procedure

Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, which considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Applicants need to register on the TNEA portal, participate in the counseling sessions, and select AIHT using the TNEA code 1303.

Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech programs must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admissions are conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

M.E / M.B.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

For M.E. programs, candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and qualify in the TANCET or GATE examinations. MBA aspirants should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and a valid TANCET score. Eligible candidates must participate in the TANCA counseling process for seat allocation.

Eligibility

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Ph.D - Eligibility

• Candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

Scholarship

BC/MBC Welfare Board Scholarships: Students from Backward Classes (BC) and Most Backward Classes (MBC) can apply for scholarships in their first year. Upon meeting eligibility criteria, these scholarships can be renewed annually until the completion of their course.

SC/ST Welfare Board Scholarships: Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are eligible for scholarships provided by the government through the SC/ST Welfare Board.

Transport

Our college is easily accessible from Adyar (the heart of the City) by the State operated transport buses also. In addition, our college owns a fleet of Forty three buses one Mahindra van, one Tata sumo and these buses ply in various routes covering the entire Chennai Metropolitan as well as suburban areas.

Our booming transport facilities ensure that the students and staff can reach college in time with ease. The buses are also provided for field trips, educational tours and industrial visits.
