Annai Veilankanni’s Educational and Cultural Society was established in 1988 by Dr. S. Devaraj and has consistently grown in its commitment to excellence. What began as a small spark in 2000, in the modest basement of Annai Veilankanni’s College of Arts & Science, has since evolved into a shining beacon of learning.

More than a decade later, that light continues to shine brightly, guiding and equipping young minds with the tools and confidence to seize promising opportunities. Annai Veilankanni's College of Engineering is located at No.33 Gandhi Road, Nedungundram, Chennai, (Near Perungalathur Bus Stand & Railway Station) Tamilnadu. It is constructed on a campus size of 2.5 Acres. The College is away from the City on the outskirts with comparatively lesser pollution. Tambaram Railway Station is 13.6 Kms from the College Campus and Chennai Airport is 19.3 Kms away.
AVCE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

AVCE offers B.E. and B.Tech Degree Programmes in five disciplines B.E Civil, Mechanical, ECE, CSE and B.Tech in AI & AS.

Admission Procedure

Annai Veilankanni's College of Engineering (AVCE), located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, follows a structured admission procedure for its undergraduate engineering programs. Prospective students must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. The minimum aggregate marks required vary based on the candidate's community: 50% for General category, 45% for Backward Class, 40% for Most Backward Class, and a pass for SC/ST candidates. Admissions are primarily conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, which considers the candidate's 12th standard marks.
