  A R J College Of Engineering And Technology, Mannargudi is a Co-Education Institute  located in Mannargudi, Tamil Nadu. The institute was established in the year 2002 by AAA Trust founded by Shri K. M. Ayyanathan, Chairman hailing from a rural background in Thanjavur District. The primary aim of the trust is to spread education in general and technical education in particular in and around Tiruvarur District, a socio-economically backward area, having realized the plight and hurdles faced by the rural students of the region in pursuing higher education. The trust has chosen Edayarnatham for their establishment of A.R.J Technical Institutions and striving to achieve excellence for the betterment of rural students.  Mrs Rajakumair Ayyanatham is the Chairperson and  Dr. A Jeevagan Ayyanathan is the founding Vice Chairman of the AAA Trust and the ARJ group of Institutions. 

   ARJCET campus filled with lush greenery is located in 160 Acres of sylvan surroundings and has a serene atmosphere conducive to an effective learning process.  The Institution is located at the Mannargudi – Thirumakkottai Main Road, just 5kms from Mannargudi Town of Thiruvarur District.

  ARJ College of Engineering & Technology offers BE course in 5 specializations and ME course in 3   specializations. The college also offers MBA and MCA courses as part of the postgraduate program. The  college also offers lateral-entry admission for BE and MCA courses.

Candidates seeking admission for BE course should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks  and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in qualifying examination.

Admission for BE course is based on TNEA conducted by Anna University.  

For BE lateral entry admission, candidate should be a Diploma holder in the relevant field with minimum 50% marks.  

Admission to BE Lateral entry is done on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.

The basic eligibility for ME admission is a Bachelor’s degree (four-year) in Engineering/Technology in  the relevant field with minimum 55% marks.

Selection to ME is done on the basis of TANCET/ GATE/ CET entrance examination scores.

For seeking admission to MBA and MCA, the candidate should have minimum three-year Bachelor’s    Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate.

Admission to MBA is done on the basis of TANCET/ MAT/ CET scores.

For MCA lateral entry admission, candidate must have passed BCA program from a recognized  university.

Admission to MCA is done on the basis of TANCET or CET scores.

ARJ College of Engineering & Technology Application Process :

Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses must apply through the official website of Anna University, Chennai. Also, candidates appearing for CET/GATE/MAT must apply through the official website of the conducting bodies.

The institution has a team of professionally trained faculty under the placement cell, not only to train the students to improve upon the presentation skills, communicative ability. The placement cell organizes regular workshops taken by corporate persons.

The college has A.Rajakumari auditorium. A.Rajakumari auditorium have a seating capacity of around 500 people respectively. The auditoriums are regular venues for conferences, workshops, and seminars. The purpose of the auditoriums is to enhance the quality of education. To make this possible, the auditorium offers facilities such as LCD projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures. It also provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in various activities.
