University Arts & Science College is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in the state. It is situated in the second campus of the University at Subedari, Hanamakonda. Evolution of this college can be traced back to the year 1927 when it was started as Collegiate High School. The college has been accredited with 'A' grade by the NAAC and also recognized as College with Potential for Excellence by the UGC.

The Directorate of Admissions was  University in order to stream line the admission of students and Research scholars into various P.G. M. Phil & Ph. D programs. It envisages the admissions through centralized Single Window facilitating students and different Departments / Colleges (constituent and affiliated) of the University. It also makes easy to follow particular time schedule for University admissions in each academic year and complete the process on time allowing smooth conduct of curriculum as per Academic Calendar.
