Arunai Medical College and Hospital is a Telugu Minority college which was established in a year of 2021 in Tiruvannamalai District, a small town in th South India state of Tamil Nadu. This institute is owned by politician Thiru E. V. Velu and run by the Jeeva Educational Trust which has been in the field of education for more than 10 years. He established AMCH with the prime purpose of giving back to society, which is long dependent on education, by providing the necessary stepping stone on one's path towards individual growth, which contributes directly to the growth of a society and country as a whole. Decided by the Trust, Dr. D. Gunasingh MBBS, MD(Ped.), DCH, is posted as Dean and Principal of Arunai Medical College & Hospital.

Arunai Medical College And Hospital is a world class institute, situated in 100 acres of land located at the Cuddalore – Chitoor National High way at Velu nagar, Thenmathur, Tiruvannamalai District, with a buildup area of 23.63 lakhs square feet. This Institute caters to the needs of the rural population in and around major Districts like Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Arani and Cuddalore. This institute is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

Arunai Medical College and Hospital offers MBBS course of duration 4 Years and 2 Months (Plus 1 year of compulsory rotating internship). Arunai Medical College and Hospital has a total of 150 seats for the MBBS program, out of which 127 seats are available for the general category, and the remaining 23 seats are reserved for the management quota. The admission process for the college includes an entrance examination, followed by a counseling session. All the seats including NRI/Management Quota are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamilnadu Selection is based on National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all India basis by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
