Shortlisted applicants and their parents get to engage with academic and business mentors in April, and those who go further are notified.  The awardees who get into AIT through KCET (for Karnataka) or COMEDK (for rest of India) are automatically enrolled in this program and get benefits like fee waiver, industry guidance, tuition improved opportunities, and career guidance.

·        Merit Scholarships are awarded annually to the top three students in each stream (BE, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech). The scholarship amount is 100%, 50% and 25% tuition waiver for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.

For admission in the B.E program, candidate must appear for KCET/ COMEDK UGET.
Candidates seeking admission to the B.E program, must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in the case of candidates under reserved categories).

Also, candidate must have Mathematics, Physics, English as mandatory subjects and any one among Biotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science as an optional subject in the 10+2.
KCET is conducted in the offline mode. Whereas, COMEDK UGET is conducted in the online mode.
College also offers admission to candidates in B.E. Second year.
The candidate must have a diploma or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks for eligibility.
For admission in the M.Tech. Program, candidate must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE.
For admission to the M.Tech program, candidate must have completed their B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in the case of candidates under reserved categories).

Karnataka PGCET is conducted in the offline mode. Whereas, GATE is conducted in the online mode.
Candidates who want to take admission in the MBA program must appear for Karnataka PGCET examination.
For admission to the MBA program, candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of candidates under reserved categories).
Final admission is through counselling of candidates on the basis of the rank that they have obtained in the entrance examination.

andidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent examination) with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and any one among Computer Science/Biotechnology/Electronics as the optional subject with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for candidates under reserved categories).

The college also offers direct admission to B.E. Second Year. Minimum eligibility is Diploma or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks.

For competitive examinations, candidates need to apply at the official website of the respective conducting authorities.

Candidates can fill the form Online for admission enquiry by clicking on the “admissions” tab at the official website of college.
The institute will call the candidate in return if they are selected for counselling.
Alternatively, candidates can also contact the institute via email or call.
They can also visit the admission office and talk directly to the person in charge.
On the day of counselling, admission will be offered to deserving candidates on the basis of the rank scored in the respective entrance examination.

Following are the various selection criteria needed to gain entry into this program.

Potential “Young Scholars” from 10+2 (or its equivalent) or 12th Grade students across the country are identified through the “Innovation Challenge” contest every December.
Shortlisted candidates and parents get an opportunity to interact with Academic and Industry Mentors in April - from which a set of “ Young Scholar “ Awardees are announced.
Awardees who join AIT from Karnataka through KCET and from the rest of India through COMEDK are automatically enrolled in this program.
