 Vision

 Veeriya Vandayar Memorial Sri Pushpam College (AVVMSPC) is an autonomous aided Arts and Science college located in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1956 and affiliated to Bharathidasan University, it offers education in the stream of Arts, Science and Technology. 
 offers B.Sc, B.A, BCA, B.Lit, B.Com, BBA and BSW at UG level, M.Sc, M.Com, and MA at PG level along with M.Phil in various disciplines.

• Candidates will be granted admission to various UG, PG and Research programs on the basis of Merit.
• Candidates seeking admission to UG program must have scored at least at least 50% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 examination.
• To pursue B.Sc from the college, Mathematics is a compulsory subject to be studied in Class 12 whereas for BCA course, candidates should have studied English in Class 12 examination.
• Students seeking admission to B.Com must have cleared Class 12 examination with an aggregate of at least 48%.
• For admission in M.Sc and MA programs, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Students must be a graduate from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% to pursue MIB and M.Sc from the college.
• Candidates applying for M.Phil must hold a PG degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

Placements: Around 50% of students will be placed. The average salary is Rs. 15,000 per month for freshers and the highest salary package is Rs. 20,000 per month, the lowest salary is Rs.
