BMS School of Architecture, the 8th institution under the BMS Educational Trust, has the distinction of being established as an Independent “School of Architecture” in the year 2010. BMSSA is a center of innovation and one of the nation’s few independent architecture schools with a stated mission of being dedicated to educating future generations to be ethical professionals, creative designers and informed citizens.

Located in amidst a green campus in Yelahanka, Bangalore, the school is distinguished by its unique learning environment. BMSSA offers both Graduate and Post Graduate programs in Architecture. With a strength of approximately 500 students and 50 faculty members, the approach adopted by the school is to encourage students to think out of the box and explore the limits of architecture.

A distinctive component of the school are its workshops and guest lectures through which the students are allowed to dabble with different parameters in design and update themselves on the current affairs in the world of architecture. Our national and international study tours give them direct exposure to the miracles of the Masters. BMSSA is inimitable in its active involvement with industries, social groups, networking with other institutions and its responsibility towards the society.

B.Arch Admission Procedure
The admission to BMSSA is through the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions.
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as specialization.
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronic.
Management Quota Seats should be applied at BMS Educational Trust only.

M.Arch Admission Procedure
The admission to BMSSA is through the entrance test, Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Karnataka Government (compulsory for Karnataka domicile candidates). The student should have cleared B.Arch or equivalent examination.
Candidates with valid GATE score will be given first preference for the seat selection in the counseling process, then PGCET rank holders are considered.
Management seats: Meritorious students are considered based on the portfolio and interview.

Ph.D Admission Procedure
The criteria for admission are through synopsis selection, VRAT Test and an interview conducted by VTU for affiliated research centers.
Master's Degree of any recognized University or any other equivalent qualification.
All eligible applicants will be called for a written entrance test which has to be cleared to attend an interview. The admissions will be based on performance in the interview held by VTU.

Various facilities are shared with BMSIT to offer additional conveniences to all students.

The Shared sports area with BMSIT Campus is about 2.5 acres with adequate space earmarked for fields to play outdoor games like Hand Ball, Throw Ball, Badminton, Volley Ball, Net Ball, Cricket, Football and Basketball Ball. There is also a Shared facility to play indoor games such as Chess, Table Tennis among others. There are various fee concessions awarded to represent the College at National & International events. Financial awards are given from the sports fund for Gold medallist/Best sports person selected by University.

Other Facilities include a well equipped Gymnasium shared with BMSIT Campus, an indoor auditorium and one open air auditoria. Spaces are also provided for Placement Cell, Counselling room and Health Centre shared with BMSIT campus.

The college campus houses a well maintained Canteen which serves food round the clock during college hours. There is a also a stationery shop which provides necessary stationery dedicated to architecture students.
