Placement

On campus, there is a full-fledged office for the Training and Placement department. The department features a private boardroom and five-panel rooms with all of the necessary equipment to conduct campus hiring programs. Malnad College of Engineering placement cell conducts an introductory talk about the opportunities, as well as career growth and planning, along with sessions on communication skills, and soft skills. According to the 2019-20 placement data available on the official website of Malnad College of Engineering a total of 197 students got placed. The total number of companies participating in the placement drive is 12.

The College library has a collection of over 22,500 volumes of Books, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, and General books including Kannada novels. the library has subscribed to E-resources like IEEE-IEL online, Elsevier Science Direct, ASCE, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Proquest, and Knimbus Digital Library through VTU Consortium. BCE Library provides an NPTEL facility (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) to access video lectures. A digital library with 10 Systems to access E-Journals, E-books, CD/DVDs is available in the library. All in-house operations in the library are fully computerized by using NEWGENLIB open-source software and provide access to the online catalog.

The Campus is having Round the Clock OFC internet connectivity. The institute has a 24X7 Wi-Fi internet facility on the college campus for students and faculty members to avail of internet connection in the college campus and hostel. All the Computer Laboratories are connected to the internet through Switches and each room in the hostel has an individual internet connection.

The College has separate Boys' hostels within the campus. The hostels can accommodate 300 boys. The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south, and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus. For first-year students, separate hostel building blocks are present to avoid any cases of ragging.

The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus. For first year students separate hostel building blocks are present in order to avoid any cases of ragging.
