Ballari Institute of Technology & Management (BITM) was established in the year 1997 under the management of Tungabhadra Education Health & Rural Development Trust (T.E.H.R.D. Trust). The institute was established with the objective of providing global standard education and to create opportunities for the youth of the country to shine in the fields of Engineering & Technology and Management. The Governing body of BITM has shown its mettle, as its members are pooled in from various professions such as academicians from IIM, IITs, Industrialists, Medical & Software professionals and Chartered Accountants. The institute has highly proficient and devoted faculty members who shoulder the responsibility of shaping the outlook of the students in a broad and intellectual manner. Bellari Institute of Technology and Management is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.  It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute has been accredited by NBA and has been conferred ISO 9001:2008 certification.  BITM is an institution comprising of many feathers in its effervescent cap!! The eligibility for admission to BE is through Common Entrance Test / COMED-K/ AIEEE.  MTech/MBA/MCA Students have to take the entrance test conducted by the PGCET/MAT/CAT.

Training & Placement Cell at BITM strives for every single opportunity, if not create an opportunity to make students employable. Our first & basic moto at Training & Placement cell is to make students aware of the corporate behavior & what are the basic requirements that companies look for. This is bridged through engaging our alumni & students who are already on campus placed. Once students understand T&P culture slowly, we start engaging them in training on Soft Skills, Aptitude & Technical as mentioned below.

Soft Skills involves – corporate behavior, leadership & teams, self-management, vitality training, written/oral communication, verbal/Non-communication, presentation skills, group discussions, resume writing, email writing, essay writing, paragraph writing, verbal ability, discussion, debates, interview handling skills, Etc.,

Programming Skills – we are moving towards a more technologically advanced world. We make students across branches have good programming skills.

 Core training – here we work directly with companies who can make our students industry-ready. Like 5 of our faculty are Wipro certified (WCF) Wipro Certified Faculty who will be training our students on (PBL) Project Based Learning program. Aptitude Training – Analytical topics, aptitude, reasoning, mock tests, Etc., which would help students in any competitive exams.

How to apply:

Laboratory

Regular maintenance of the machines and computers is done by the support team in the presence of lab instructors before the commencement of the academic year. Lab requirements are evaluated in consultation with the HOD’s, Principal and forwarded to the management for necessary procurement and maintenance. AMC/under warranty items are maintained regularly. Preventive and breakdown maintenance procedure is followed along with Safety precautions like first aid kit. Fire extinguisher are kept with safety charts. The stock is verified annually.

Physical director conducts Sports & Games, maintains the sports facility including stock verification as per the planned schedule. In case of any damage observed, the same is recorded in the register pending further action including replacement.

About BITM Transport:

BITM provides bus facility for students and staff members and it covers every look and corner of the City. College owns fleet of 16 buses equipped with safety features fire extinguishers, First-aid Box and speed governor. Opting for College Bus transport will enable safe transport and convenience.

Rules and Regulations:

• Transport fee ₹10,000/- per annum.
• Student should compulsorily carry Bus pass.
• Board from the point as opted.
• Respect co-passengers in the Bus
• Maintain Cleanliness inside the Bus
