Basav Engineering School of Technology, one of the best private un-aided Engineering Colleges in Bijapur, was established in the year 2017 to deliver the highest quality of education to everyone, especially for rural students.  Its primary objective is to cater to the academic needs of students desirous of pursuing technical education after the Secondary School Certificate examination. With this view, BEST was founded to give every student a chance at an Outstanding, Value-based and Well-rounded Education.

Basav Engineering School of Technology is Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),Belagavi and conducts courses approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
BEST offers 4 year BE Degree programs in 4 disciplines of Engineering.  The accepted entrance exam for admission into the college is KCET.

Candidate must have passed 2nd PUC/ 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the Languages and Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. Students awaiting results can also apply on provisional basis.

There are good placements opportunities in our college because there is a separate placement cell that undertakes the activities related to on-campus interviews. The students are trained to give the on-campus interviews in such a way that they get 100% selected in the jobs.

Typically, scholarships are awarded to students who have scored a minimum of 60% to 80% in their 12th grade examinations. However, there are some scholarship programs that may require a higher percentage, such as 90% or above.
