BGS Institute of Technology (BGSIT),BG Nagar was established in 2005, The campus with 21 acres of land is unique in nature and located within a lush green environment. It is situated on Bengaluru-Hassan-Mangaluru National Highway (NH-75) (Alight: Bellur Cross, BG Nagar) and equidistant of 80 kilometers from Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Tumkur. Fresh oxygen rich air point of great attraction. BGSIT is approved by all Council for Technical Education, New Delhi; affiliated by Visveswaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and recognized by Government of Karnataka. It has the unique distinction of having learned faculty for teaching in respective disciplines. Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
Candidate should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates). Candidate should have qualifying rank in either CET

BGSIT Mandya Placements
BGSIT Mandya has a dedicated Training and Placement cell that serves as a bridge between the students and the industry. The BGSIT Placement cell is responsible for arranging industrial training and placements for students. Strict discipline is maintained in the hostels. Late night entry, and leaving the hostel without permission are not allowed. Smoking and drinking on hostel premises are totally prohibited. Entry of unauthorized persons is prohibited. The hostel mess serves vegetarian food, the menu prepared by the boarders of the hostel itself. Various sports and Cultural Activities, along with regular academic work, are carried out for the benefit of the boarders.

The library comprises the reference section, periodical section, stock area, and digital library with an internet facility. Library also has a collection of newspapers; journals back volumes, competitive exam books, GATE question papers University question papers, and syllabi of all the branches. Cafeteria
The College has a Canteen inside the campus in which both South Indian and North Indian dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons. A committee consisting of staff, students, and trustees oversee the functioning of the canteen and its upkeep


Auditorium
