BGS School of Architecture and Planning (BGSSAP) is the destination for students who wants to pursue, sharpen and develop their skills in sustainable design, or for students who would like to contribute to the creation of a sustainable built environment as a responsible and sensitive Global Citizen, the faculty team at BGSSAP is dedicated to reach such goals.

The institutional focus is towards the creation and maintenance of buildings and communities based on a GO-GREEN concept. In order to achieve this, Bachelor of Architecture Degree (Intake of 80 from Aug 2015) is taught at BGSSAP by balancing traditional planning, design heritage from across India with current trends in environmental awareness, processes and materials and future practices, which gives the next generation of architects and planners valuable skills to create a sustainable-built environment.

The subjects range from pre-design stages to designing, construction, post-construction, maintenance, operation and evaluation of buildings. We provide hands-on experience through workshops, seminars, site-visits, faculty-led architectural study tours to destinations within India and abroad to provide a total educational perspective.

BGSSAP with its dedicated faculty and noble management is committed to provide its students with an education that combines rigorous academic programs integrated with co-curricular activities such as workshops, guest lectures, sports, cultural, NASA and events for the overall development of a student. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Citizenship : Indian

No Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. COA notification (23rd March 2021)
Education: Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % marks
in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent,
of the 10+2 level examination.
OR
Passed 10+3 diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Very Important: Candidates must have a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA)
Qualifying marks for NATA-2021 would be based on the following rules:
The candidate needs to qualify a National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council complying with the Admission Norms prescribed in (www.coa.gov.in Appendix-D)
The institutions shall give weightage of 50 %. marks for aptitude tests and 50 %. marks in the qualifying examination as provided in (www.coa.gov.in sub-regulation (1), in the matter of admissions.

SPORTS

BGSSAP combines rigorous academic programs integrated with co-curricular activities and events for the overall development of a student.

KRIRA

KRIRA 2019 the much-awaited Sports Meet for the students of Architectural is held on the 28th,29th and 30th of March 2019. It is the third edition of the Annual Inter Architectural College Sports Fest KRIRA. With trophies for Individual sports to Overall Winner and Runner up much more to grab. With about 13 colleges registering.

SPORTIKA

Sportika is an Intra semester Sports event held in the Odd semester for the Students of BGS School of Architecture. The whole idea for Sportika was initiated with an aim of developing a good bond and team building ability between the students of all batches. It also gives a break for students from regular academic session to get refreshed and energised.

BGSSAP LIBRARY

The College Library is a magnificent and a very popular place among students to read and refer magazines or newspaper. It is housed in a separate building from academic block to maintain silence.

The Library continues to support the academic study of student aiming Architectural study through all resources such as Books, Journal, E-Journals and Digital Library.

AUDITORIUM

A 1500 capacity fully air-conditioned auditorium equipped with High Quality JBL Dolby Digital Sound. Also, The Auditorium has state of art lighting system with Multiple projectors for better viewing experience where all are seminars with eminent speakers, and architectural talks and discussions are conducted.
