Bhajarang Engineering College is a reputed Private Technical Institute located in Chennai which was established in the year 2001 under Bhajarang Educational & Social Trust, founded by Mr.M.G.Baskaran, as its chairman and Managing Trustee. Bhajarang Educational & Social Trust is a Telugu Linguistic Minority Trust having its registered office at Thiruninravur in Thiruvallur District. It was primarily started to establish Engineering Colleges, Arts Colleges, Medical Colleges and other institutions for the sole benefit of the Telugu Linguistic Minority people. Meritorious students of other communities and religions are also admitted subject to the rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

This two and a half decades old institution is sited on a 14.4 acre compound and has been a training ground for engineers for more than two and a half decades. BEC is ideally located in Ayathur, Thiruvallur (Near Veppampattu Railway Station), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Bhajarang Engineering College is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute which is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by UGC as well as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The institute offers B.E (in CSE, EEE, ECE, Mech, Civil) and B.Tech (IT). These courses are offered in full time mode with 210 seat intake. The courses offered at Bhajarang Engineering College are approved by AICTE. For admissions to these programs Candidates should have passed in the H.S.C Examination of the State Board of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination..

• Merit List Based on the higher secondary marks, a merit list is prepared. The marks are scaled to 200, and ranks are assigned accordingly.
