Admission for PG Programme
The University offers a number of PG programmes including MA, M.Sc, M.Com etc. in multiple disciplines along with several diploma programmes such as PG Diploma in Environmental Education, Cheminformatics etc. In addition to it, the university also offers B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed programme along with MBA and MCA (Regular and Lateral Entry). Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of performance in an entrance test (60 marks) and in the qualifying examination (40 marks) upto V Semester / II year. The Entrance Test will be conducted in the university campus only
Eligibility
- Candidate should have passed with minimum 55% aggregate in marks at the undergraduate level from any recognized university in the country. The course must have been in a related field, and the viability of an acquired degree in terms of its applicability to the subject of the Master’s degree is at the discretion of the University.
- A relaxation may be given to reserved categories as per the regulations of the Government.
- For the M.Ed. degree, a B.Ed. degree is preferable, though BA with education related fields may be accepted.
- In case of Biochemistry, a minimum of 60% aggregate is required at the undergraduate level to apply.
- For M.Sc. programmes, Science stream with related subjects must have been a part of the curriculum at the undergraduate level.
- For courses in Economics or Econometrics, the following subjects are accepted: Economics, Econometrics, Mathematical Statistics, Business Economics, Commerce. Other related subjects may be considered at the discretion of the University.
Apply Process
1. 10th Mark Sheet, 12th Mark Sheet, UG Marks Statements of all the semester (Those who are studying sixth semesterhave to attach first 5 semester mark statements), Consolidated Mark Sheet, Provisional Certificate, DegreeCertificate, Community Certificate, Special Category Certificate in“JPEG”/”PNG”/”JPG”file format.
2. A Passport Size Photograph of the applicant (“JPEG"/”PNG”/”JPG” format) isrequired.
3. Applicant’s signature using Blue/Black pen on white sheet(“JPEG"/”PNG”/”JPG” format).
4. Each attached document must be not more than 512 KB of Size.
5. A valid E-mail Id is mandatory to submit the application and furthertoreceive all correspondence regarding the admission process. If the applicant already registered with any other course in Bharathiar University for Admission 2020 using the same email id, the applicant receive the error message “Email id already registered”. In this case the applicant should use the different email id to register as a new user.
6. Application Fee payment should be done through only online/DD/NEFT.
7. Those who have remitted the payment through DD mode only should send the Complete Downloaded application form with original DD and all the enclosures to the Coordinator, Admission 20-21,Bharathiar University,Coimbatore-641046. Those who remitted the application fee through online/NEFT need not send the application form.
8. If the candidate was not given admission to the 1st choice of preference he/she may request a mail to buadmission@buc.edu.in for the 2nd/ 3rd choice of the course. If there is a vacancy in 2nd choice of preference/3rd choice of the preference, the same application may be considered. The Applicant need not pay the application fee for 2nd/3rd choice of preference for admission.
9. The fields marked as “*” are mandatory which has to be filled without fail while filling up the application form.
10. M.Sc. Medical Biotechnology (DBTSupported ) - Total ( 20 seats ). Ten Seats through All India GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test for Biotechnology). Then students have to apply with GAT-B score to Bharathiar University by online through website. Ten Seats through Bharathiar University selection criteria.
11. Applicants those who are applying for M.Ed. Programme should enter their B.Ed. Mark statement details in the place of UG marks in the qualification
12. Those who are completing under graduate course in annual pattern can upload I, II marksheets (first, second year) in semester I, II and the request letter for accepting the non-semester pattern has to be uploaded for
semester III to V.
13. If the applicant filled any information in extracurricular activity, the relevant document must be uploaded without fail.
14. Last Date for submission of application form is on or before 15.07.2021 5.00 PM details.
