Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC), a premier Technical institute, being managed by KTA & GRS Educational Trust, is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of BEC Group which is committed to community service in the fields of Education, Health and Livelihood. The Foundation established Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC) in the year 2002 with the objective of bringing superior Technical Education to the doorsteps of the rural youth in the North western Districts of Tamilnadu. Since than Bharathidasan Engineering College has grown exponentially and has found a place not only among the best technical institutions in the state of Tamilnadu, but in the country at large.  This college is specially meant for the local sub-urban population, who are economically and educationally backward to be brought into the mainstream, traslated into a healthy society.  The purose is to transform the surrounding area into a technological hub, where the local population reaps the benefits of this silent revolution. At present Mr. Baskar G is the Chairman-Principal of BEC.

Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC) is located in an ample 25 acres sprawling campus, in amicable surroundings, at MGR Nagar, K.Bandarapalli (Post), Nattrampalli, Tirupattur District, Tamil Nadu and elegantly approachable on  the Chennai - Bangalore National Highway.

The Institute offers a variety of Degree courses  in Engineering and Technology including 6 UG and 4 PG courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode. Bharathidasan Engineering College is a premier institute for B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech courses. Candidate can pursue in multiple range of courses like B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech in any stream of Engineering.  Over the period, Bharathidasan Engineering College has gained expertize through its trained and experienced faculty in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Structural Engineering.  Accepted Exams for admission into the college for UG course are TNEA,  CBSE 12th exam and for Masters, one needs to take TANCET.  Courses offered by institute are recognized by approving bodies like AICTE. Bharathidasan Engineering College offered courses for 444 seats. Courses offered by the Institute are in the fee range of INR 50,000-200,00

A 'Pass' in recognized bachelor's degree obtaining atleast 50% of the qualifying examination (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) Candidates who pass in the qualifying degree course will appear for TANCET Exam

For M.E the eligibility qualifications are:

• 10+2+3 years pattern (or)
• 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern (or)
• B.E. / B.Tech. courses

The Library of Bharathidasan Engineering College has set a vision to satisfy the reader community needs. Our spacious library, the seat of knowledge, entertains and evokes enthusiasm among the students with interesting collection of books a variety of journals are also within reach to assimilate and enhance awarene

Internet

Air conditioned internet centre with 45 Mbps wireless dedicated line with high end computers are provide for the stduents use. The campus is fully connected with intranet facility. Staffs and students are provided to access the internet.The Campus along with the Hostel is Wi-fi enabled. Students can research on the Net referring to many journals and publications, etc. They can access the web anytime, anywhere whether it is the Campus premises or the hostel.

Hostel

There are separate hostel for Boys and Girls. Hygeneric food and surroundings add to the efficiency of hostlers.Tutors in the hostel help weak students to equip themselves with difficult subjects.It is a perfect home away from their homes where they never become homesick

LABORATORIES

We have over 240 I7-11 gen computers, which are fully networked and have the latest software. The computer centre is fully air conditioned with adequate UPS backup, having covered area of more than 15000 sq.ft and has internet facilities through 250mbps leased line with BSNL and localloop by RailTel Corp.

PLAY GROUND

We have separate play ground for cricket, footbaal, voleyball & Athletic Track for conducting extra caricular activities and Sports. The students of our college participate in all levels of Sports conducted.
