Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC), a premier Technical institute, being managed by KTA & GRS Educational Trust, is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of BEC Group which is committed to community service in the fields of Education, Health and Livelihood. The Foundation established Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC) in the year 2002 with the objective of bringing superior Technical Education to the doorsteps of the rural youth in the North western Districts of Tamilnadu. Since than Bharathidasan Engineering College has grown exponentially and has found a place not only among the best technical institutions in the state of Tamilnadu, but in the country at large.  This college is specially meant for the local sub-urban population, who are economically and educationally backward to be brought into the mainstream, traslated into a healthy society.  The purose is to transform the surrounding area into a technological hub, where the local population reaps the benefits of this silent revolution. At present Mr. Baskar G is the Chairman-Principal of BEC.

Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC) is located in an ample 25 acres sprawling campus, in amicable surroundings, at MGR Nagar, K.Bandarapalli (Post), Nattrampalli, Tirupattur District, Tamil Nadu and elegantly approachable on  the Chennai - Bangalore National Highway.

The Institute offers a variety of Degree courses  in Engineering and Technology including 6 UG and 4 PG courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode. Bharathidasan Engineering College is a premier institute for B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech courses. Admission Criteria

B.E / B.Tech - 4 Year Course

Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admissions are conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, organized by Anna University. Applicants need to register online during the application window, typically open from May to June. The selection is based on the candidates' performance in the qualifying examination, and seats are allocated accordingly.

M.E - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

For M.E./M.Tech programs, candidates must possess a relevant bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admissions are primarily based on scores obtained in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Applicants should register for the respective entrance exams and participate in the centralized counseling process. The application period for TANCET usually falls between January and February.
