Admission Process

Bharathi Women’s College (BWC), established in 1964, is a government autonomous women’s college affiliated with the University of Madras, recognized by the UGC, and accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC. Ranked in the 151–200 band in NIRF 2025 (Overall category), the college offers diverse programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce. B.Com is one of its most popular courses, with merit-based admission, eligibility of 10+2 (Commerce/Science with relevant subjects), and a first-year fee of INR 795. Other programmes include B.A., B.Sc., M.Com., M.Sc., and Ph.D., supported by departments such as Biochemistry, Geography, Economics, and English.  Admission Criteria

B.Sc / B.A / B.Com (UG Programmes):

For B.Sc, applicants should have studied the relevant science subjects at the higher secondary level, while B.Com requires Commerce or Science background with relevant subjects.
