Bhumika College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre, Haryana established in 2023,provides education in the field of animal husbandry. As a majority of the population in Haryana is engaged in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, a college Degree in this field was the foremost need of the hour. Shree Ramchander, Founder Director and Shree Ajay Kumar, Chairman of Shree Jawala Prasad Shiksha Samiti felt this need and established Bhumika College to benefit the local village population.

 

Bhumika College is nestled in 10 acres of land amidst lush agricultural fields and natural greenery. It is located on the Rewari-Mahendergarh State Highway at the distance of 3 km from Mahendergarh at village, Sigra, Haryana.  The college is situated at a distance of 130 km from the national capital, New Delhi and easily accessible by road, rail and air. 

 

Bhumika Institute of Veterinary Sciences is affiliated to Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar. It has got the approval of VCI, New Delhi.

 

The college has already left an indelible mark while awarding 2 year Diploma in Veterinary and Livestock Development Program (VLDD). It is now offering Five and half year Degree Program in Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) including one year rotational compulsory internship program. The College has been permitted an intake of eighty students annually to impart quality education in theoretical and practical fields both. The eligibility for admission is based on NEET exam.

 

Bhumika College of Veterinary Sciences, with modern and state-of-the-art infrastructure and all MSVE regulatory required departments including Veterinary Clinical Complex and Instructional Livestock Farm Complex, augmented with, Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Section comprising of Computerized Radiography and high resolution USG machine, well-equipped capacious department based Laboratories, air conditioned Smart Classrooms Central Computer Laboratory, Central Equipment Laboratory, Central Library, smart Auditorium, IT infrastructure besides separate Dairy and Poultry farms.

 

Besides Its own Live Stock Farm Complex, students visit the mass animal farms like Gaushala for precise and intact practice. The attached Veterinary hospital provides proper and timely service to villagers in the nearby areas.  The main motto of the college is upliftment of the society with devotion.

 

With huge infrastructure and competent and dedicated faculty, it would not be too long before the college is acknowledged as Centre of Excellence in academics, research and extension. Shouldering its social responsibility, the college provides round the clock diagnostic and therapeutic services to the livestock through Veterinary Clinical Complex. Teaching faculty includes highly experienced and renowned talented teaching faculty. For overall personality development the college provides indoor and outdoor sports along with various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
