Bidhan Chandra College, popularly known as B.C. College, is located in Asansol and is a co-educational government-sponsored undergraduate institution established in 1961. The college was founded through the initiative of the Asansol Educational Development Committee with support from philanthropist Sri Sasthi Narayan Gorai, and it is named after Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
