Bishop Heber College is a Christian Minority educational institution located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. It is an autonomous institution, affiliated to Bharthidasan University. Currently, it offers 13 Undergraduate, 18 Postgraduate and PG Diploma in various disciplines. It also offers M.Phil and Ph.D. programs at the Research level.

The Deanery regularly informs the students about Student Helpline and Heber Hands scholarships funded by the college management. The scholarship is awarded to qualified students based on their credentials such as academic performance, attendance, financial hardship and track record of good conduct throughout the course period. The eligible students are permitted to submit the scholarship forms to the Dean, Staff and Students Welfare every year. The forms are scrutinized by a team and the scholarships are disbursed by the Deanery within the allotted time period.

Facilities and Infrastructure are some of the important aspects of a college. Students prefer to study in a college having good facilities and infrastructure for the overall well-being of the student. Bishop Heber College Facilities & Infrastructure ensures students not only learn from an academic structure with a modern-day smart room but also students remain physically active by working out in the gymnasium. Bishop Heber College facilities include a well-equipped library, large and spacious hostel, computer lab, common room, hygienic canteen, gymnasium, a large auditorium, medical room, and professionally managed software and portals. Boys HostelStudents are admitted to the hostels only after they secure admission to the college. However, inmates may keep their belongings in a separate room in each hostel or in their own cupboards in their respective rooms, except during the summer vacation. Every hostel is provided with a payer room for the inmates to arrange Christian worship. Food will be served only in the Dining Hall of the respective hostels during the specified timings. Taking the meals to the rooms is strictly prohibited. Each student admitted into the hostel should pay the following fees at the beginning of every semester. For Boys 1. Schwartz Hostel, 2. Gardiner Hostel, 3. Dodson Hostel, 4. C.E. Hostel for Boys (For economically needy Christians only) For Boys & Girls 1. International Hostel.

- For ensuring additional safety of our students, speed governor is installed in buses with speed limit set at 40kms/hr.
- The College is also in process of installing navigation system in the buses helping parents to know the exact location of the bus at any given time.
