Admission Procedure

BNMIT courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 23 courses offered at BNMIT. The courses are offered in fields like Engineering, Management. BNMIT courses includes BE, M.Tech, BE {Lateral}, MBA. The popular courses at BNMIT is BE, M.Tech, BE {Lateral}.

Admission Criteria

B.E. Admission

BNMIT offers admission to B.E. Program based on scores in entrance exam scores followed by counselling. The institute offers B.E. in 6 major specializations.

B.E. Eligibility Criteria

• Second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject
  
• Students must also have English as one of the language subjects.

M.Tech. Admission

BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore, offers M.Tech. in CSE & VLSI Design & Embedded System specialization. The institute offers admission to M.Tech. program based on scores in GATE or PGCET entrance exam. The tuition fee of M.Tech. program varies from INR 2.6-3 Lakhs.

M.Tech.Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50 % of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of BE/B.Tech examination.
• In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Category I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.
• For the foreign degrees, an Equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities shall be a must.
• The candidates who have completed their degree through distance mode education from any University (National or International) are not eligible for admission to M.Tech. Programs under any quota

Scholarship

The college offers a variety of scholarships based on academic performance, sports achievements, and socio-economic backgrounds. Scholarships range from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 per year, with specific provisions for CET students and those from reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC. Students with a CGPA above 9.3 or outstanding performance in sports and other fields may receive scholarships. The college does not directly provide loans but assists in obtaining educational loans from banks, with amounts up to INR 3 lakhs for diverse students. Tuition fees vary significantly between KCET (approximately INR 45,000-85,000 annually) and COMEDK students (approximately INR 2-2.5 lakhs annually). Additional scholarships are available through government schemes like the E-PASS and SSP scholarships, and financial aid is provided for minority communities.

Facilities Offered @ BNM Institute of Technology

Sri. N. Raghunath Rao Maanay Library and Information Centre is presently housed in ‘S’ building with a floor area of 1030 Sq.mts. The Circulation Section, Stock Section, Digital Library, Periodical & Newspaper Section is housed in 2nd Floor and Reference Section in 3rd Floor with a total seating capacity of more than 200+ members at a time.The total collection of the Library is over 78377 Volumes (Including UG Library and PG Library 52469 and 25908 e-Books) of reference and textbooks with 13873 Titles. The Library and Information Centre subscribes over 69 Print Journals, covering of all branches of Engineering and Management Programme in addition to various e-Resource databases through VTU Consortium, Belagavi. Beside this, it has over 896 bound volumes, 2753 learning CD-ROMS, several Data Books and Project Reports.
