Admission through Management Admission process is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. SAARC and Other Foreign students are also eligible to apply.

Eligible students (those who meet qualifying requirements as per the eligibility criteria) may contact the Admissions Department, to obtain the application form.

Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit.
Candidates must fill in the registration form. This is to be done at the College Campus.
Visit the Admissions Department, and meet the Admission Counselor.
Admission fee details will be shared with the prospective candidate.
Once the seat has been confirmed, candidates may fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.E. COURSES
A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at CITECH.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

The skill gap that exists between industry and academia has been a moot point for years now. While the Indian education system prepares candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge, employers find most graduates struggling with on-ground understanding of the job they are engaged in.

The Cambridge Group of Institutions has taken a pre-emptive bid to ensure that the quality of education imparted to its students is of the highest level and that its students are industry-ready when appearing for interviews before potential employers.

The Talent Transformation Hub is an initiative undertaken by the Cambridge Institute of Technology to impart practical knowledge to its students so that they are not only ready for the industry but are equipped with enough technical knowledge to start as an entrepreneur too.

The Talent Transformation Hub has been set up to enhance the employability potential of students at the departmental level. The Hub is accessible to all the students – from freshers to final year students. Three separate tabs to indicate technical, industry engagement and non-technical skill development All aspects that contribute to the holistic development of a student are taken into account by the Hub.

The transformation activities include imparting industry-relevant technical knowledge, facilitating industry engagement and strengthening non-technical skills ranging from soft-skills to aptitude of a candidate.

How does this work?

On signing with the Talent Transformation Hub, a student is subject to diagnostic assessment for non-technical skills
• Out of the eight semesters, the first four semesters are dedicated to gaining 60 per cent of non-technical and 40 per cent of technical skills
• This is supplemented with Experiential learning through activities, clubs, events, lectures, student exchange programmes etc.
• The last four semesters focus on 40 per cent of non-technical skills and 60 per cent of technical skills
• For those interested in Immersive Entrepreneurship and Leadership courses, options are available for classes during semester breaks. This is by registration only!
• At the end of the eight semesters, students are provided opportunities at industry internships and projects. CIT also has an alumni engagement plan to help students with placements.

Chiguru
This mega event is CIT’s Annual Engineering Intercollegiate Cultural Fest. Today in its 10 th edition, it is one of the most-awaited events for engineering students across Bengaluru. Its last edition receiving more than 15,000 visitors, participation from more than 50 engineering colleges in Karnataka, more than 56 cultural events and activities and appearances by more than 100 celebrities from across India.

Pinnacle
Pinnacle is MBA annual Intercollegiate Management fest that is laden with fun and frolic set of activities. This event helps to enhance the students’ knowledge through activity-based learning. This event allows participants to put forth their conceptual understanding with real life situations.

Intuit
Intuit is a Technical Annual Fest organised by Cambridge Institute of Technology which is a project exhibition held every year as an opportunity for students of CIT to present their project modelling, analytical and technical skills. Students from all departments of Engineering eagerly participate in Intuit as it not only provides a shining opportunity to showcase their technical, analytical and tactical skills, but also allows them to bond, network and hone their communication skills – much needed in their careers ahead.
