Cardamom Planters’ Association College (short name: CPA College) is a co-educational arts & science institution located in Bodinayakanur, Theni District, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1974 by the management of the Cardamom Planters’ Association, with the goal of providing quality higher education and enabling educational access for economically and socially backward students in the region. • Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) examination or an equivalent examination.
• Students from any recognized Board of Higher Secondary Education can apply.

M.A.

Admission Process

• Candidates must have completed a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Eligible candidates should submit the online application for the desired M.A. programme.

The college offers various scholarships and fee concessions to support deserving and economically disadvantaged students. These include Adi Dravidar Welfare Scholarships for eligible SC/ST and other communities, Merit/National Scholarships, scholarships for children of political sufferers and INA participants, Kallar Reclamation Scholarship for eligible Piramalai Kallar students, concessions for dependents of serving defence personnel, Government of India scholarships for eligible orthopedically handicapped students, National Loan Scholarships, scholarships for children of cardamom-estate workers, Students Aid Fund, and E.V.R. Nagammai Free Education for eligible BC first-year women students. Eligible SC/ST students may receive full fee concessions, while eligible BC/MBC students may receive fee concessions subject to the applicable government rules and income conditions.

College has a Career Guidance and Placement Cell that supports students in preparing for employment through career guidance, aptitude training, interview skills, skill-development programmes, and placement drives. The college regularly provides opportunities for students to participate in recruitment and job fairs. In the Naan Mudhalvan Job Fair held on 3 February 2026, around 100 C.P.A. College students participated, and more than 20 students received offer letters from companies including BSI Enterprises, NITHI Finance and CIEL HR Services Ltd. The college also has an active alumni network that shares job openings and career information with students.
