CARE College of Engineering is one of the Top Class Premier Engineering Colleges in Trichy. It was established in the year 2009 and is promoted by the G.Narayanan Educational Trust. Mr. Prative Chend is the CEO. The Trust’s Vision and Purpose to start the College was to impart quality education to students through critical thinking, creativity, leadership and the spirit of entrepreneurship and to transform lives through Education and Research.

CARE is situated on a large 50 Acre land at 27, Dindugal Main Road, Thayanur Village, Kuttappatti, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu. The beautiful Campus of CARE was designed by the famous Architect Mr Sanjay Mohe of Bangalore.

CARE College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is granted Autonomous Status for 10 years, from the Academic year 2024–2025 till 2033–2034. The College is also accredited by NBA and NAAC with 'A' Grade.

CARE College has a large range of courses to offer in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Design and Management. It has 4 B.E, 1 B.Tech, 1 B.Des, 1 M.E and and 1 MBA program to offer. Engineering Courses are available is various disciplines. The College offers Tuition Fee waivers from 25% to 75% as Scholarships based on Student performance in Examinations. Scholarships based on Caste, Minority Status, Socio-Economic and Occupational Category, Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF, Excellence in Sports are available as per Government norms. Students can also apply for need-based Scholarships and Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Admission Process

• Government quota via TNEA counselling: Requires 10+2 with PCM (minimum ~50% aggregate), online TNEA registration, then seat allotment based on rank and category.
  
• Management/NRI quota: Often includes application through the college, academic merit review, and sometimes interviews or group discussions, followed by direct seat allotment and fee payment.

Eligibility:

B.Des - 4 Year Course
