Cauvery Institute of Technology was established by a group of Science and Engineering Faculty in the Year 2014 -2015 under the Cauvery Education and Research Trust (Registered), Mandya.  The Institute has been setting standards for Quality Education and Bright Future.  CIT is committed to the Personal, Social, and Intellectual Growth of its Students.

 
The CIT campus hosts a green luscious and beautiful environment covered across 11 Acres of beautiful surrounding at Siddaiahna Kopalu Gate, Sundahalli Village, Mandya, Karnataka. This renowned Institution is located near the Yaliyur railway station, and is just 5 kilometers from Mandya towards Mysore.

 
Cauvery Institute of Technology is Affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and is Approved By the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
CIT is popular for the UG engineering courses, ie. BE Degree in 4 disciplines. The Institute accepts KCET and COMEDK scores for admission to its engineering courses.   Candidate should have qualifying rank in either of these entrance tests.

 
The Institute has various Scholarships and Fee Exemption available for deserving students under different categories like SC/ST Category Student from the Department of Social welfare Government of Karnataka, category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB Students from the Department of Back Ward classes Government of Karnataka,  Minority category students from the department of Minority Government of Karnataka.

 
It also offers a number of Loans to students with financial constraints.  Arivu Loan at zero/minimum interest is available for minority students from Minority development board government of Karnataka. Bank loans are also arranged / available for all category students at minimum interest.

The Department of Placement & Training is a separate entity in Cauvery Institute of Technology. The dedicated Department coordinates with many leading organizations which recruit Engineers/Technocrats for entry level positions in their respective organizations. The institute offers Placement Training at the institute to develop a sense of professionalism in the students. The major recruiters that come for placements at the Institute are Capgemini, Mphasis, TCS, TATA, TATA Elxsi, Tata Advanced Materials, Esspee, Infosys, Parrys, HP, HCL, JSW, Global Edge, Karmic, Tech Mahindra and Vector India to name a few.

Cauvery Institute of Technology Mandya Admissions

Cauvery Institute of technology has a total intake of 300 students. The admissions to students are allotted as per entrance test scores. The institute accepts both the Karnataka Common entrance test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Undergraduate Entrance Test. 

Admissions are as per the cutoff scores presented by the college followed by a personal interview. The application process is through offline means. Candidates will be required to fill in their details and register themselves before attaining the application form.
