C.B. Bhandari Jain College is a premier co-educational Degree and Post Graduate College with a difference.
Established in June 2000 by Shree Mahaveer Jain Shikshan Sangh, this Institution aims at imparting quality, value-based education to students. Located on K.R. Road, one of the arterial landmarks of Bangalore, the College provides a platform for youth with wings of intellect and talent alike to take off in pursuit of careers in Commerce and Management.

To ensure proficiency in their core skills, the college offers compulsory value-added courses in Advanced Accounting Techniques, Advanced Computing Skills, Management and Leadership, and SAP courses along with soft skills such as Team building, leadership & Pre-Placement preparation.

As testimony to its thrust on Quality Education, five of its students have bagged the 8th and 9th rank in 2011, 7th rank in 2013, 7th Rank in 2015, 10th Rank in 2017, and 3rd Rank in 2020, in Bangalore University B.Com Examinations.

Admission Process
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION
Certified Photocopy of Statement of Marks is required to be enclosed with the application at the time of admission
SC/ST, CAT-1 candidates to submit caste and income certificates.
Students from other states should enclose copies of Migration and Eligibility Certificates.
Admissions are made only after a personal interview with the Principal and Management.
Candidates shall produce the Original Marks Card, Transfer Certificate and six recent passport size photographs at the time of admission.
Payment of prescribed admission fee should be made on or before the date notified in the College, failing which the admission is forfeited.
Amount once paid towards admission is non-refundable.
Admission is provisional subject to the ratification by the Bangalore University.
A minimum attendance of 75% in each subject is compulsory. Please note that students who do not have adequate attendance will be stopped from appearing for the examination.
Parents / Guardians are requested to meet the teachers concerned to ascertain the attendance and progress of their wards at least twice in the academic year.
Any act of misconduct, indiscipline, vandalism or violence or damage cause to the college property,
Laboratory equipment, sports materials, library books, reference volumes, journals and periodicals, defacing of furniture and of walls, etc., shall be seriously viewed for both penalty and punishment and the decision of the Principal is final in this matter.
Participation in extra-curricular activities, N.C.C., N.S.S., etc., is voluntary and desirable.
Morning Prayer is compulsory discipline for all students.
Students should strictly adhere to the dress code specified below:
1. Dress should not be tight – fitting and transparent.
2. Neatness and dignity in dressing should be strictly observed.
If any dress is found objectionable, action can be taken immediately by any member of the staff.

Eligibility Criteria:
UG ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

BCOM: A candidate who has passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to these programmes.

BBA: A candidate who has passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to these programmes.

MCOM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: A candidate who has passed the B.COM /BBA/ degree examination of this university or of any other university recognised as equivalent thereto and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the commerce subjects of business education in all the years shall be eligible for admission to the course. In case of SC/ST/CAT-1 students and PWD students, there will be relaxation of 5% in the minimum required percentage of marks.

Scholarship of 10-20% of tuition fee is applicable for the siblings of the present students/alumnus of CBBJC. The student has to provide the identity card of the sibling, copy of degree certificate, etc. *The scholarship is eligible to the student if the sibling has completed the degree/PG in CBBJC.

Library
The library of the College was established in the year 2000. The library being upgraded with the latest library software, i.e. pupilpod. The library has all the facilities with the required information in the form of books, journals, and the internet. The college library is a gateway to a world of information. The staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of information resources like books, magazines, journals, encyclopedias, and the internet. Commerce Lab - A dedicated commerce lab for the students has been initiated at the college. It provides practical exposure to the processes and procedures followed by the organization in conducting commercial practices.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The cafeteria is available and open during College Hours. Equipped With All The Necessary Kitchen Facilities, It Serves Lunch, Snacks, And Soft Drinks To Students And Staff.

The institution has a provides excellent infrastructure for indoor games by setting aside a huge quadrangle measuring 3,551 Sft for conducting Chess, Carrom, Table tennis, etc. For outdoor games the Bangalore City Corporation grounds situated near the college premises is used. Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball and other sports are played by the students on a daily basis.
