Chadalawada Ramanamma Engineering College (CREC) was founded in the year 2004 by Dr. Chadalawada Krishna Murthy, a great visionary, philanthropist, successful entrepreneur Dr. Chadalawada Krishnamurthy, born on 1 st May’ 1948, in a small village- Chennur of Nellore District, AP. After his studies he continued in business with his brothers. He is a social activist and attracted for politics in the year 1973 to serve people of his home- town, elected as Congress Youth President (1976), elected as Sarpanch (1981) of Major Panchayath, Naidupet. AP State Govt. awarded him as BEST SARPANCH in 1983, entered State politics and contested MLA for Srikalahasti Assembly Constituency (1994), served as MLA of Tirupati Assembly Constituency (1999), TTD Board Chairman (24 th April 2015) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He offered social services of free drinking water supply to the needy people at their door-step and also free medical treatment with permanent establishment of Hospital, pension to the old-age, performed several times mass marriages to the peoples of Assembly Constituencies of Naidupet, Srikalahasthi and Tirupati.

CREC with 19 years of its illustrious existence has produced many Engineers, Managers and Leaders who have enriched the world through their immense contributions for mankind. CREC offering 04 Diploma Programs viz. Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE), Computer Engineering (DCME), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (DECE), 07 Undergraduate Programs viz. B.Tech. CSE, B.Tech(AI),B.Tech(AI & M L) ECE, ME, EEE CE and 06 Postgraduate programs viz. M.Tech.- CSE (CSE), ECE (VLSI & SD), ME (CAD/CAM),EEE (PED), MBA & MCA; in conventional and emerging areas. The College has been effectively practicing Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), Outcome Based Education(OBE). TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL
Training & Placement Cell-CREC (A) is providing training and placement services to the students of UG and PG programs of the Institute. The T&P Cell prospects opportunities in the areas of the domain of study of students and trains them to meet the recruitment challenges. In this process, the Cell recognizes the strengths and interests of the students and draws plans to make the students industry fit by giving suitable training to enable them to cross the hurdles in the recruitment rounds

Training & Placement Cell Activities
The Training & Placement Cell-CREC (A) is constituted by training and placement officer who is selected based on his profile of rich experience. He is supported by faculty members from the Institute as coordinators drawn from all departments. They provide necessary guidance and information to the students well in advance and to prepare them for the placement drives. The Training & Placement Cell-CREC (A) team keeps up to date information on employment trends and the manner in which the students are to be prepared.

To provide services in the areas of Campus Interviews, Job Placements, Internships, and training programs for the students that enable them to develop applicable skills in the competitive job market of IT and Core sectors
To organize Workshops and Seminars on Personality Development, Interpersonal relationships, Communication Skills, Interview Skills, and Presentation Skills to enable the development of individuals.
To conduct the programs to create awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and Abroad.
To organize diagnostic tests for the competitive exams such as GATE,CAT,CMAT,GRE, and GMAT and counsels them for higher studies.
To properly utilize the CREC(A) Alumni network of students who have gone overseas for higher study to motivate and guide our students regularly.

Infrastructure/Facilities
Central library with 58,188 volumes of books and13,152 titles and can accommodate 500 students. The college has subscribed to 96 National and 1369 International journals. Online subscription of IEEE, ASME, AICE, and DELNET. Library Working Hours - 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
