Seats & Quota Division

Eligibility Criteria

For regular B.Tech (1st year) applicants:

• Must have passed the 10+2 (HSC) exam (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology (Botany & Zoology). 
• Minimum aggregate mark: 45% for general category; 40% for reserved categories. 
• Age Limit: Should be ≤ 21 years as of 1st July of admission year. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories (OBC / SC / ST etc.). 
• For Lateral Entry (diploma holders / equivalent) to 2nd year: Must have completed a relevant engineering diploma or equivalent.
• Fulfilling minimum marks and other criteria as prescribed.

Entrance / Test Requirements

• For seats through the management quota, candidates must have appeared for the Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Engineering Colleges (CETPPEC). 
• For seats through CENTAC, admission is based on your performance in the board examinations (10+2) and the counseling process under CENTAC.

Counseling & Seat Allotment (CENTAC)

• Candidates need to register with CENTAC when admissions open.
• Based on your 10+2 marks (or equivalent), CENTAC prepares merit lists.
