Christhu Raj College of arts and science is a highly regarded Co-educational institution. College offers degrees in UG are C.S, Computer Application, Commerce, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Electronics, English, and Business Administration. Postgraduate are Information Technology, Computer Science, Hospital Administration, Physics, Electronics, Social Work, Commerce and M.C.A, M.B.A., (AICTE Approved) M.phil in Management and Ph.D in Management, Computer Science, and Commerce. Christhu Raj College of arts and science was started in 1998, and within a span of one decade it had registered exceptional progress. The degrees will be awarded by the Bharathidasan University.

About Campus
Christhu Raj College is situated in Royal Nagar Panjappur, Viralimalai Road, Trichy on the National Highways. It is a pioneer institution offering number of UG and PG courses in Arts, Science, computer Applications, Information Technology; Master of Health Care & Hospital Management M.S.W & M.Com etc.,. The institution is set up in the rural area of Panjappur. 7 K.M. away from the noisy pollution of the Main Town and provides vast and comfortable infrastructure facilities for the students. The caravan is moving and the Christhu Raj College, Tiruchirapalli will be one of the best in Tamil Nadu even in India. It has lofty vision to make the college as a Deemed University ultimately.

Genesis And Grouth
Vast expansion of scientific knowledge and its large scale exploitation through technology and the growing globalization trends have had a tremendous impact on the socio-economic development of our country.

New forms of socio-economic behavior and structures have been rapidly emerging in the past few decades giving rise to newer educational challenges. It was in anticipation of this changing context that the Christhu Raj College of Science was established with a view to cater to the needs of the youth in this part of the country for high quality career oriented education in various emerging fields. The College started in the year 1998, is affiliated to the Bharathidasan University and recognized by the University Grants Commission and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (for the MBA courses).

The degrees continue to be awarded by the Bharathidasan University.

Eligibility
UG Course
A candidate should have passed the higher secondary Examination of Govt. of Tamil Nadu or equivalent.
PG Course
M.Sc. - IT & M.Sc. - Computer Science:
Any recognized Degree (With Mathematics or Statistics at Plus Two level or as an allied / Major subject at Degree level.)
MBA:
Candidate with ANY degree with minimum of 50% are eligible to join in MBA
M.Sc., Health Care & Hospital Management:
Any recognized UG Degree
MSW (Master of Social Work)
Any recognized UG Degree
M.Com
Any graduate with Accountancy or Commerce as major or allied subject.

Around 25% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are the Big 4, and so on.

Laboratories
The College is blessed with good and best laboratories with sophisticated modern equipments and fine techniques
A Computer centre with sophisticated high class computers with advanced techniques and internet facilities are available to the students. The centre has nearly 150 terminals, for the benefit of the students; besides, Internet facilities and Laser Printing facilities are provided. The lab also provides various hardware and software platforms to enable the students to develop their skills for interfacing the challenging tasks of the Hi-Tech world. Certificate courses are made available for non-computer science students after the class hours in the evening and holidays.

Electronics Lab

The college library serves as a fountain source of knowledge for all intellectual activities. It is well-equipped with a brilliant collection of Indian and Foreign books on various areas of learning. Apart from departmental books, books on general knowledge, and research oriented works are available. Books on competitive examinations, Journals, Magazines, Weeklies and Dailies constitute
The library as the centre of attraction in the college. The available Computer and Photo Copy facilities enhance the value of the library.

Hostels
Hostels are the centre of pride of our college. Well-equipped hostels are situated in the college campus itself. Separate Hostels for boys and girls are available. Comfortable rooms with cot, fans and lighting are provided creating a conducive study atmosphere. Spacious ply grounds around help to promote sports and games activities. The hostels are well maintained with hygienic care.

Auditorium
A new-build Auditorium recently inaugurated in the college is made available now to the benefit of the students.
With a pucca R.C. structure adorned with modern facilities and spacious sitting accommodation, the Christhu Raj College Auditorium is a rare feature to the region of the Panjappur and Trichy

The college provides a Seminar Hall with all latest facilities. The departments invite eminent professors and experts from various fields to contact seminars enlightening the students with more knowledge on their subjects and to inculcate confidence in their minds

Co-curricular activities
The college provides many co-curricular and extracurricular activities to the overall development of the student’s personality. Every Department has a sectional Association conducting various inter-departmental, inter collegiate functions. N.S.S. and Red Cross are functioning very effectively to serve the cause of the poor and the down trodden. College also encourages students to participate in various competitions, cultural events, games and sports. Our students always return home with laurels.

Government of the India & Government of Tamilnadu offer scholarships & loans to eligible students. Besides, nationalized banks give educational loans to deserving students. Further many philanthropic Agencies extend financial help or Scholarships to deserving student of O.C., B.C., M.B.C., S.C., S.T.
