Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) is a Co-Educational, Self-Financed Collegefounded by the Late PadmabhushanDr. Jacob Cherian M.B.B.S.,FRCS, who was then also a Member of the Christian Fellowship Hospital (CFH) and Dr. (Mrs) Mary Cherian. Both were Pioneers in the Field of Medicine. This prestigious Engineering College was started in this rural area because of the Founders’ strong desire for inculcating Technical Education for the poor and needy of the Rural Backward Class. With a view to empowering the rural youth, the College stands as an epitome of Service and Quality Education. The College aims to provide quality technical education to students and to inculcate Christian values like hard work, honesty, and charity in its Students.CCET is located on a large 100 Acre Land in very scenic and clean surroundings on the lower range of the beautiful Kodaikanal Hills, at Palani-Dindigul Main Road, Oddanchatram, Dindigul District, Tamilnadu. The Nearest Bus Stand and Railway Station to the College is Dindigul at a distance of 3 Kms.

Christian College of Engineering and Technology is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Additionally, the College also has an approval from the Government of Tamilnadu.The College has a wide range of UG, PG and Doctoral Course Options to offer. It has 5 B.E, 1 B.Tech, and 5 M.E Courses in different disciplines and 1 Ph.D program to choose from. The College offers Scholarships to Meritorious Students. The College also has a Minority Cell that helps Students access financial support and information about government scholarship programs. The College also offers partial Fee Waivers to Students who have passed the qualifying exam from Government Schools.

Admission Procedure

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025 is the centralized counselling process conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech) in Tamil Nadu. Unlike other states, there is no separate entrance exam for TNEA. Admissions are solely based on candidates’ Class 12 marks.

Placements were very good, and every student got placed who attended the placements interview according to their academic performance. The major companies that participate in placements program were Royal Enfield, TAFE, Eureka Forbes, Ashok Leyland, etc. The highest salary package offered was 8.5 LPA. The designation placed as operation manager. The roles offered were production Manager, quality control inspector, operation manager, operation assistant manager, etc.
