City Engineering College, among the Best Engineering Institutes in India, is a well-known private unaided Institute which is centrally located in Bangalore.  Established in 2001, by the Jayanagar Education Society, the college has expanded over the last 23 years with sophisticated infrastructure, reflecting its commitment to providing high-quality education in engineering.  The college is the sister project of AMC Engineering College, Bangalore. It started a Civil Engineering branch in the academic year 2011–12.

CEC offers a wide range of UG, PG and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering, Management and Computer Application.  The UG Course offered is B.E in 6 Disciplines.  Among PG programs the college offers M.Tech in Computer Sc and Engg as well as MBA and MCA. Admission Procedure

City Engineering College, Bangalore offers more than 10 programs at the UG and PG level across multiple streams of study such as engineering, management, and computer applications.City Engineering Bangalore BE stands as the flagship program of the institute, offered in six disciplines of engineering. For admission into the B.Tech Program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST); the admission also requires a valid score in KCET or COMED-K.

Admission Criteria

Admission Process

City Engineering College Bangalore’s admission is based on merit and as per the eligibility norms set by VTU, which is the affiliating university, with entrance exam scores in consideration.

For UG Programs:

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCM as compulsory subjects and one of chemistry, biology, or computer science, securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• A valid score in KCET or COMED-K.

For PG Programs:

• M.Tech: Graduates with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission; final selection will be based on scores of Karnataka-PGCET or GATE.
• MBA: Graduates with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission; final selection will be based on scores of Karnataka-PGCET, CAT (or equivalent).

Scholarship

The student loan which is provided by the banks for that we have to issue some documents for verification and nominee purpose and our college will also provide scholarship for the students who have applied for it through their category wise, Students can avail government scholarships, minority scholarships, and merit-based financial assistance schemes as per eligibility criteria.
