City Engineering College (CEC)

City Engineering College, among the Best Engineering Institutes in India, is a well-known private unaided Institute which is centrally located in Bangalore.  Established in 2001, by the Jayanagar Education Society, the college has expanded over the last 23 years with sophisticated infrastructure, reflecting its commitment to providing high-quality education in engineering.  The college is the sister project of AMC Engineering College, Bangalore. It started a Civil Engineering branch in the academic year 2011–12.

City Engineering College, Bangalore is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi and is approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  The College is ISO Certified and NAAC Accredited.

 
CEC offers a wide range of UG, PG and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering, Management and Computer Application.  The UG Course offered is B.E in 6 Disciplines.  Among PG programs the college offers M.Tech in Computer Sc and Engg as well as MBA and MCA. It also offers Ph.D through its Research Centers in CS & Engg and Mechanical Engg.  The admissions to these programs are on the basis of respective entrance exams:

At City Engineering College Bangalore, Scholarships are provided on the basis of outstanding performance in sports and cultural events but only during the time of admission.  This scholarship offered is solely on behalf of the college and not associated with government/ NGO / any other organization.

Placement Department plays active role in grooming students towards placement. It encourages students additional soft skill training, IT training, Aptitude training,

between industry and academicians by conducting bridge courses, certificate courses.

availed a loan through college in SBI Bank in my hometown that is the student loan which is provided by the banks for that we have to issue some documents for verification and nominee purpose and our college will also provide scholarship for the students who have applied for it through their category wise

E Language Lab.
English language lab is conducted for all the branches of the students to enhance their communication skills and make them globally competitive in communication. A separate lab is identified in the college which also incorporated with English software prescribed by the university, highly educated English teacher would be allotted to train the students.
